I picked up this Keychron to replace a Logitech mechanical keyboard with Romer-G switches when I replaced my windows laptop with a Mac. I'm glad to say all my searching paid off. This keyboard is really fantastic to type on. The feel of the keys, the switch feedback, and the multiple options for connectivity make this a really great match for my work setup. I've been able to type for long periods without any discomfort, and it's quiet enough to not bother my coworkers if I have a nasty email to send out. The backlight it a little dim, which isn't a huge deal since the office is well lit. I leave the lights on, but it's hard to tell. I do wish the backlight was more controllable outside of the predefined patterns. This is absolutely a small complaint, and does not outweigh the benefits of this keyboard. Just buy it if you want a compact keyboard for Mac. You won't be disappointed.

This keyboard is great! I got this together with the Nuphy Halo96 as my first mechanical keyboards because I wanted to feel the brown switches versus the baby raccoons. I could have given it 5 stars on everything but for the fact that it has south-facing LEDs and not easy to find shine-through keycaps for.

UPDATE: The headset died a little over a year of using it :( I really feel like for the price, this should have lasted way longer. Super disappointed Before buying please consider the following because this is a very expensive headset. Pros: look really good/ stylish Download G Hub and customize headset colors, mic settings/ sound effects, customize audio. Feels nice on the head. Light and comfortable. The pleather does not make my ears sweat. Overall sound quality is pretty good. Connect to your PC and phone both at once and mix music and game audio. Detachable mic which makes it easy to wear out or game with it Okay battery life CONS: The default mic settings make your mic sound horrible. Even when messing with the settings.. it’s still just sounds okay. Mic settings are easy to use but you have to also download the NIVDIA mic settings.. it’s needed. The head band is a little too big for my liking and also the headset still runs big on my head even though it’s meant to be inclusive. It ran big on my boyfriends head too. Overall: it’s a decent headset, but the mic on it is pretty bad. For $230 the mic should be better but at least there are settings to make it sound a little better. You will have to download G Hub and add ons to make it sound good, which was easy to navigate but not ideal. I mainly wanted versatility, which this headset is good for. You can wear it out without the mic, and it looks good. For this price you can buy a good headset and a nice stand alone mic for a better streamer setup.

Sick product, best and most comfortable on the market. Also has hands down the best RGB to date. Corsair is KING in that market. I wish it was wireless but I'm sure soon enough there will be one that's even better with a wireless option.

Great brand and great product. It’s durable and sturdy. The edges are a little too sharp but not very often will I be picking it up. The hand rest is not soft but I’d rather it not be. I’m new to PC gaming and my fingers get sore but my wrist feels a lot more supported from my last keyboard. The lights aren’t as bright as I thought they would be but they look great and flow well with the other CORSAIR ICUE products. I love the customization it’s very detailed. More features than I was looking for but for the price I couldn’t beat it. Those features are now very convenient. The sound of the keys are soft but still have that satisfying clacking sound so you know you pressed it. It came with extra keys with stubble on them to help with your gaming awareness on where the keys are. This keyboard should last a long time.

Best sounding magnetic switch keyboard. The ROG switches are TOP NOTCH. They are tight smooth and sound amazing. The ROG switches were made so you can replace the springs to change the feel, so you dont have to buy new switches. I made a bracket so I could use the keyboard cover as a wrist wrest, Now it is like a low profile keyboard. I LOVE I. I made the bracket out of paint can stir sticks. They are usually free at most paint supply stores, even Home Depot. FOR THOSE WHO DARE. Good by my old friend. My Logitech G910, 10 years of service, thousands of games, your sparks keycaps will remain in my heart forever. But the ROG Falchion Ace HFX 65% gaming keyboard with ROG HFX magnetic switches, rapid trigger toggle...ect. IS THE BOMB.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and as someone that games a lot and works from home, it works so well for both. In the first picture you'll see my new keycaps but it goes to show you that this keyboard looks amazing. I also love the fact that I can adjust the brightness if needed. I added a video of the different variations, but I highly recommend giving this a try. I also went with red switches.

A fantastic keyboard for the entry level mechanical realm. I would gladly buy this 5 times over!

I quite like this mouse. The rgb is cool, I love having the three side buttons for macros while playing, and the dpi switch works well. The only problem I have with this mouse is that the silicone siding that is underneath where I rest my ring finger keeps sliding when I get into an intense match and I had to buy some rubber cement to keep it in place. Other than that it works great.

I bought this not expecting much because it was built for Corsair keyboards. I expected some of the keys not to fit because of Corsair's non-standard bottom row. I was correct of course. But as you can see from the pictures, this is only because of the space bar really. There is a small gap between the Alt keys and the space bar but that doesn't bother me. I kept the function and escape keys black because I thought it looked better. If you have a razer keyboard, you will likely need to take the small stabilizers off of your enter, shifts, backspace, 0 numpad, enter numpad, and + numpad and put them on the new ones. The colors are beautiful. I took a couple of the pictures before realizing that I keep my brightness almost all the way down for the colors so one of the pictures will look a lot more vibrant (Wave on picture three) because I turned it all the way up. The texture is a little weird to get used to but I love it so far. Some people say it makes the keyboard louder but I actually disagree. I had dampeners on my old keys and don't on these and they sound the same or maybe even quieter. My only complaint is that they don't include the macro button keycaps. A lot of people take exception to the controversial large font, but I think it looks great on the Blackwidow. I hope this helps you. Sorry if it makes it more difficult.

Best choice! Best quality and materials! Best build!

love this keyboard with all the things it can do it's really fast at typing on games I have noticed more advantages over everyone else who doesn't have this keyboard while stomping on console players I feel bad they won't have something this good

backlight lol not its so dull i cant see it in the dark and even when you can colors are crap and vary faded white only upshot is the screen on it but it is low rez and i wish it were more customizable

Tons of youtubers, in videos completely unrelated to their girlfriends and wives, say that the Keychron Q2 is the board they give to their cherished ones. Anyone gifting things to a woman knows that this sort of praise is unheard of, so I immediately considered it as a birthday present for my girlfriend. I can only assume that keyboard reviewers give this keyboard the praise it gets because of its unmatched build quality, comfortable typing experience, tasteful white space around the keys, two extra keys on the left for the two function and nav keys she actually uses, the knob, and because of how dead easy it is to set up for someone or even let them set up for themselves. I easily taped, polyfilled, modded the stablizers, and padded this keyboard in less than a few hours; it took far more time to lube and film the switches than it did to fully modify the board. Sounds good stock too if you don't care for modding. It also comes with a ton of foam and some extra gaskets in case you want to upgrade the included plate to FR4 or something. I built the board with T1s and the doggie caps from KFA and it sounds absolutely stunning. Off go-keyboard.com it's a bit of a rip off to buy this board unbuilt, since the caps and switches cost only $20 more, but if you want to bring out the best sound this board can produce I strongly recommend putting some high quality linear or tactile switches into it and doing some mods while it's already unbuilt. It really is the perfect board to gift someone.

Being the owner of a Corsair M95 I was eventually tired of dealing with the old software it was ran on. Now we have the Scimitar which uses the Corsair Utility Engine. The same software I’m very familiar with since I own a K95 RGB Keyboard. It was Prime Day so I decided to finally replace my 3-year-old M95 which has served me quite well despite its outdated software. Mouse: I would describe the overall quality as premium. It is ergonomically shaped and features a slider that allows the user to change the position of the keypad. Very smart idea Corsair! For me personally, I positioned the keypad as far forward as possible. If you have thick large hands you might have trouble accessing the small buttons. Since I my old mouse was the Corsair M95 I basically had no issues learning the location of the keys. If this mouse is going to be your first mouse with multiple programmable macro buttons then there will be a learning curve. Others owners mentioned that middle click is hard to press and the macro buttons are too mushy. In my opinion, the middle click is easy, but I will mention that my previous mouse, had a ridiculously had middle click. So hard that I decided to bound middle click to one of the side buttons. I still do that on Scimitar because I’m used to that way, not because I find the middle click hard to press. As for the quality, the macro buttons, I have no problems whatsoever. The mouse has a huge DPI range, 100 – 12000 DPI. I honestly believe the DPI is really just for marketing. I just keep my windows pointer speed right in the center and adjust my DPI until I’m comfortable with the speed (1800 DPI). The Scimitar has four adjustable lighting zones, left the side, back, front, and mouse wheel. Software: I love Corsair’s software for their RGB peripherals, CUE Corsair Utility Engine. It can easily be set up to switch profiles based the application I’m currently in, Ex. CS:GO, Chrome, Photoshop, Tera. CUE has everything you would need. It sets up macros, profiles, lighting effects, and even can install firmware updates. The software can first appear complicated but with some time you'll get used to how things work. You create actions which are basically macros. These actions can be assigned on to a mode. A mode is a set of actions that are assigned to buttons. So button 1 on mode 1 does x and button 1 on mode 2 does y. These modes are stored in a profile. Profiles can contain multiple modes. So you can associate a game or program with a profile and all the appropriate modes and actions are loaded. Personally, I keep one mode per profile, but if you need it, it’s there. The lightings effects are more simple compared to the effects you can do on a Corsair keyboard. Each zone of the mouse can be set to rainbow, solid color, color shift, and color pulse. Overall I highly recommend this mouse if you plan to use its features. I find it very useful using it in Photoshop, MMOs, and many more applications. I even use it when browsing my files because I have shortcuts loaded such as minimize, maximize, forward, backward, move a window to the left, the right, etc. However, if you plan to just use it as a basic mouse you are missing out on a lot of features. This review is based on CUE version 1.16.42 and Scimitar firmware version 2.03, bootloader version 0.02.
