I love the "HyperX Alloy Origins" Keyboard, it's very bright and sturdy. I originally bought the "Redragon K556" Keyboard but returned it because it was not bright enough for me. I read reviews about how bright the "HyperX Alloy Origins" Keyboard can get and that is the reason I purchased this one and I'm glad I did. I also like how it uses a C Cable to attach to the keyboard rather than the cord being hardwired. The only thing I don't like about the "HyperX Alloy Origins" Keyboard is the location where the cable connects to the keyboard. I like cable management and to hide as many cables as I can. I drilled a hole in my desk and ran the cable through my desk, however, I can still see a little bit of the cord because it attaches to the back right of the keyboard (See Second Image). I looked online for a right angle C Cable and I found the “Anker 180 Degree Right Angle USB A to USB C Gaming Cord” (See First Link Below). I also purchased a USB 3.0 Extension Cable (See Second Link Below). https://www.go-keyboard.com.com/gp/product/B07SNS51RK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psp=1 https://www.go-keyboard.com.com/gp/product/B088GSJLWX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psp=1 The “Anker 180 Degree Right Angle Cord” is perfect for this keyboard and hides the cord well! (See First Image). The cord is only 3 ft. long so I had to purchase a USB 3.0 Extension Cable so it could reach my PC. Also, the Right Angle Cord is a little tight so you have to push in a little to connect it to the keyboard, but it works. I wish these keyboard manufactures would connect the cable to the bottom of the keyboard for better cable management. I know a lot of gamers out there also prefer to hide their cables and also drill holes in their desk for better cable management, so I think HyperX should consider updating their design. I am happy to have found a cable management solution with the "Anker 180 Degree Right Angle USB A to USB C Gaming Cord”. Hope this review helps some people.

Originally I wanted the RK61 model because of the compact size, which it's comparable to the iMac's Magic keyboard. The problem with the 61 is that the question mark key had to be shared with something else and it annoyed me having to take an extra step to get to the question mark. The RK71 fixed all that and I am loving it. This keyboard works well with OSX-- just have to make sure you're in Mac mode on the keyboard and have to swap the option and command key in the keyboard settings in OSX, at least that's what I had to do. I love that it has USB-C, but it's picky on what charger you use. For example, it will not charge from my iPad charger but charges fine from my iMac using the USB-A to USB-C cable. The only downside about the keyboard so far is the battery life. I would have to recharge every 2-3 days, so I turned off all the lights and it's lasting a lot longer. Although the blue switches felt lighter and more satisfying to use, these brown ones are a lot quieter. Overall I am happy with the keyboard and it has replaced my Magic Keyboard.

So this is the 2nd replacement, and yet again the lighting on one of the keys is stuck on green. The first time it was on the alt button. I’ve tried updating the firmware and still no fix.

I’ve used and loved this keyboard for about a month now. The clicks feel smooth, it’s not too loud, the colors look great… I only have one complaint: just the other day I was playing steam games with a friend and idk how or why I never noticed before but… I looked down and saw that I have two G keys. I am missing the D (yes, yes, immature chuckles lol). I’ve emailed support about getting a replacement key and am waiting to hear back. If they actually respond then I will give up the last star. This doesn’t really affect gameplay but I’d still like it for aesthetics XD

The razer turret is overall a great keyboard and works for me as expected. Though the Xbox key for the Xbox game bar doesn't work. I'm guessing they didn't program that key.

First off, let me say that I am a novelist, which means that I do a LOT of typing. Currently I'm working on an epic novel that is over 1.5 million words long. I mention this because my review of the Keychron V1 is based on its feel and functionality for TYPING, not gaming. Recently I found myself getting bored with typing on the keyboard I was using (a Qwerkywriter typewriter-style keyboard), so I started shopping around for a different one. Over the course of a month, I bought a dozen keyboards and ended up returning eight of them. Of the ones I kept (a Durgod Taurus 320 TKL with blue switches, a Royal Kludge limited edition with yellow switches, and a Steelseries membrane style keyboard), they were all terrific, but each had a tiny problem. Like "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," one keyboard was too hard, another too soft, etc. But then I got the Keychron V1 (with red switches) and was BLOWN AWAY--by everything: the packaging, the palpable quality, and most of all by the smooth, crisp, quiet and effortless typing experience. The Keychron V1 is just right, or GOLDILOCKS as I put it. Every day, I write for 8 to 12 hours, producing between 2,000 and 5,000 words a day (the equivalent of 8 and 20 typed pages), which translates to a LOT of typing, so I need a keyboard that is going to be a joy to type on (and won't tire out my fingers). The Keychron V1 is that keyboard. I'll definitely keep and use (from time to time) the other keyboards I mentioned--we all need some variety--but in the V1 I see a true workhorse. From the moment I pulled it out of the packaging and experienced its heft, its gravitas, I knew it was going to be my go-to keyboard, and the one that will carry me through to the finish line on my epic novel. The keyboard has a couple features that I won't have any use for (e.g., the RGB backlighting), so I won't speak to those. I have no idea how this will perform for gaming, but I CAN attest to its perfection as a typing keyboard. If you are someone who does a lot of TYPING (a writer or a coder), do yourself a favor and GET THIS KEYBOARD. At about $100 it's a bargain.

Awesome keyboard! I was planning on purchasing this one specifically anyway based off other reviews, but while waiting to build my rig, I saw this and other higher end gaming keyboards on display at Best Buy. After testing them, this was mine and my husband's favorite among all of them, some being 5x the cost! The keys have such a nice feel, are relatively quiet, and have good responsiveness. Colors are adjusted by buttons on the top (doesn't come with software), but has nice options. Only downside is lighting could be a little brighter, but it's not bad. Snagged this on sale, and for the price, it's a steal!

Very good quality keyboard. I got just like a new keyboard. (renewed but can not find any defects) Weighty and Decent. Now I am a big fan of CORSAIR products

Bought as a replacement for a broken Deathadder. Fits my hand perfectly, no issues with this mouse so far. Very comfortable mouse to use. Sensor is excellent. Wish it was a spectrum edition, but can't really complain too much. I purchased 2 year warranty on this mouse as well, since my last mouse died after the Razer warranty, however it was still within the warranty I had purchased for it. Got my money back. Can't go wrong with a few extra bucks for that peace of mind!

The braided cable will soon turn into a HARD, and STIFF cable because of the roping material lined around the cable. See my pictures for details. This is the last Logitech Product I will ever be purchasing do not be fooled by this products high rating and good reviews. Google anything related to braided cables and logitech products they turn stiff and it looks disgusting (SEE PICTURES). When you typically play games online you need to be able to move your mouse around freely, this mouse does not allow you to do that. The cable gets stiff after a few months of use and it will actually drag and mess up your gaming. This product deserves the low 1 star that I am giving it because Logitech has recently started outputting garbage products. DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT. Now, off to spending the next 5-6 hours attempting to remove the braided cable, fortunately each and every piece of the now-fray braided cable comes off in tiny little black strings, looks like this one is going in the dumpster.

What steal, everything worked out great. Came in a regular cardboard box(see pictures) which is what i expected since it was "refurbished" anyways. Keyboard looks brand spanking new, not a scratch on it, like i said brand new condition. Its crazy how much these go (just about DOUBLE the price) just to purchase a non-refurbished one. I saved over $50. Came with the all the extra grip textured keycaps(pictures) and palm wrest piece. I mainly ordered this for the "Rapidfire" Cherry switches bc i play alot of FPS games, and they are wonderful. Coming from using regular Cherry RED switches the jump to a shorter actuation point(2.0mm to 1.2mm) was not as bad as i thought it would be. Their definitely a shorter press but typing is still fine for me. If your coming from Blue or Brown switches i would say your gonna have a hard time (but its worth it in the long run if you game alot) with typing and misspelling words alot for the first few weeks. This was the case for me when i came form Blue's to Reds a couple months ago. Reds and Rapidfire switches have a linear feel to them and there is no "snappy" feel letting you know when the key you press registers like the Blue's and Browns. So it takes a few weeks to get used to that. However once i got used to Red switches i can type much much faster bc of the shorter distance needed to press them to register the keys. I could not go back to anything other than Atleast Red switches now, with Rapidfire being my favorite. So smooth and amazing for gaming. Hope this helped out anyone looking to give this keyboard or the Rapidfire switches a go. TL:DR - Wonderful Keyboard for Cherry MX RED switch lovers, Rapidfire switches are amazing and the jump from the regular Reds to these is easy. Amazing for gaming. Keyboard came in perfect Brand New condition, not a single flaw. Everything works great!

Keyboard is absolutely fantastic for the price point. Keystrokes have a nice feel to them and I personally enjoy the key sounds. Considering other options I'd say this is one of, if not the closest experiences to a true mechanical keyboard.

Great keyboard, typing action feels good and the programmable "G" keys on the left side are awesome. With all that said there is a reason why this isn't a 5 star review. Here they are, the wrist rest connects to the keyboard with two very weak plastic tabs and pops off when I try to move the heavy keyboard, annoying but not a deal breaker. Every key with a different character when shift is held down is inverted. By this I mean that the numbers across the top (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) are above the symbols that you get when you hold the shift key down. This is also the case with all of the symbols like slash, backslash, question mark and so on. This wouldn't be so bad if they just printed the characters that do not light up with white ink so that there would be a least a little contrast when I am looking for a symbol on the keyboard, which happens to not be in the normal location that I usually find it in. This contrast is worsened by the fact that there is a lit up symbol or number in place of where I normally look for a symbol like the question mark. If you never need to look at your keyboard to type then pay no attention to these problems, you wont notice a difference. I wish they would have either lit up the entire key so that both symbols were visible and just place the symbols on the keyboard exactly where I have had them for the past 25 years. Even with these issues, I am betting and hoping that I will get used to the keyboard because it is very nice to type on.
