Mercury version does NOT has same build quality as that of original razer blackwidow X (Black version) Please keep in mind that this is NOT ONLY the difference of color. As you see on the picture, they changed key stabilizer structure from original blackwidow X. Now, positions of enter, shift etc keys CAN'T BE FIXED firmly. The key position moves a lot which makes me feel I have very CHEAP keyboard.

Light and controlleble. Has a very nice feeling with the material and LEDs are very good too. Performance is on point, has everything you would expect from a gaming mouse. I recommend you download the Steelseries ENGINE 3 too, it is a software to customize your mouse the way you want to. You can change CPI , polling rate and set macro buttons. Overall an amazing gaming mouse.

The first keyboard I got was defective and wouldn’t connect to any device via BT or the dongle and it was shipped out in a box with bubble wrap and I’m sending it back. I just received my replacement and they decided to just slap the shipping sticker right to the box of this expensive keyboard. There’s some scratches and rips on the box so I’m hoping the key board is fine inside but haven’t opened it yet.

I love this keyboard, and I feel very fortunate to have it! This is a gaming keyboard, and it does so many things right it would be a bargain at twice the price! Firstly, quality construction. Feels and looks like it would last indefinitely. Second, great key switches. Very quiet, very responsive. Perfect for gaming! Third, no num pad. I like full size keyboards but I rarely use the num pad. Without the num pad, I have more room to move my mouse while gaming. I also like the fact that while RK removed the num pad, the remaining keys are in the exact positions they would be if the keyboard was full size. I think this is perfect! The keyboard is hot swappable, but I have no idea who would want to change these switches, as they are that good! I guess if any went bad they would be easy to replace. You can also change the key caps to your liking. I like the ones this keyboard comes with just fine. They are quite easy to read. The bottom has multiple height adjustments to find what works best for you. There are also plenty of rubber pads to keep the keyboard firmly in place during use. The cable is not braided, but it is very sturdy yet flexible, and is removable from the keyboard for easy storage or transport, and I guess it can be replaced if necessary. The leds are amazing! A light show to behold! RK put white just under the key caps and this helps make the led colors even more vibrant! There are also led lights on the sides of the keyboard, and they are very bright and as awesome looking as all of the other lights! My pictures do not do justice to how good this keyboard looks! I have absolutely no cons. This is a perfect gaming keyboard at a fantastic price! In my time with various RK Royal Kludge keyboards, I have come to think this company is made up of PC gamers who want you to have as much fun as they do playing games! I think they have certainly accomplished that goal!

Love this keyboard. It is truly a masterpiece. The colors, the keys, the super-satisfying sound, the design…all are excellent. It takes a little to get used to since the keys are a little bit tighter than my previous gaming keyboard, but so glad I bought it.

I bought this keyboard yesterday and got it today so this review is based on one days use. My son who is very into gaming asked for this keyboard I had never heard of so I said sure the reviews looks good let’s get it. Well this Keychron keyboard was so impressive I ended up buying myself one later that night. Anyways, what made me fall in love with this keyboard was the beautiful feeling of a quality build. Everything from the keys to the leg stands feels solid and built to last. Another great aspect is the nostalgic feeling of the key strokes and the sound of each press! It took me back to my childhood when I was typing one key at time in school. Uhhh, wow never had flashback quite that powerful especially from a keyboard! I’m in complete shock! Oh yea my boy loves it too! Perfect for his gaming style and he can customize it too!

Its a great keyboard but expect to be disappointed in the back light. after talking with Corsair they (to sum it up) said that they sacrificed brightness for the benefit of having RGB so the back light is not as bright. if RGB is your only goal then get the board but you wont be able to see in the dark the lower half of the keys icons. the pics are at 100% brightness, the one with the top row of numbers I had more light in the shot so its not as distorted as it really is. ... Examples are the top number bar, I can see the alternate characters but not the numbers themselves or the alternate keys of the numpad and the following keys ; ' , . / [ ] \ - = ` as-well-as shift tab enter. ... to the details The sacrifice spoke of comes from moving the LED itself. Evidently they had an issue on some boards where the heat would kill the LED so they moved it from above to below the switch for better thermals. with this change the switch shaft now produces a shadow effect for the lower part of the key-cap. Also the color of the switch material was changed from black to clear, the clear plastic absorbs and reflects the light giving you a different back-light effect. ... I am going to return the RGB and get the standard model, but brown or red switches?..

I enjoy this keyboard and there are things I really like. I like to be able to customize the lighting/colors with the logitech G hub software. The brightness is good when I am in the dark. I like the media keys and volume control I want to love this keyboard, but I have a couple of issues with it. The keys are already starting to wear. My letter "A" is now just a lit blob of a letter, and my "D" key is already showing wear at the top. This is probably my biggest issue with my keyboard. It's been less than a year and the keys are already wearing. I also really wish the symbols/secondary characters were lit as well. I am not someone who memorizes well so having the secondaries would be really helpful to someone like me. I also tend to use this in the dark so I really have to hunch over and look at the keyboard to find what I need. I give it a 3 star because I am not absolutely blown away by this keyboard. I like the lit up keys, I like the adjustments in the colors and brightness, but even with these awesome features if caps themselves can't live up to everyday use it's a mediocre item at best for me because reliability and longevity of a product is super important. if I spend $200 on a keyboard I expect to get 5+ years out of it. I am going to be looking to replace in under 3 if the caps continue to degrade. It's a disappointing feeling.

This is my first ever keyboard, and after using it for a while now, I can say that it's a great choice in terms of quality and pricing. Pros: - Great Quality, even though its made out of plastic, it is very sturdy. - Travel Distance is great! I feel comfortable typing on it after using chiclet keyboards (Laptops) for almost over 10 years. - I love Red, not those RGB lighting keyboards, so this was a great choice for me personally. - Comes with 2 small sets of key-caps (WASD and QWERDF) and also a key-cap puller. - USB pass-through for a mouse/headset which will help with minimizing the cable mess on your desk. - The overall typing feel is AMAZING!! I went for the Blues because of its clicks and clacks!! Certainly not for a work environment or if you live with a roommate who hates noise and you're a night owl. - No more pain in my fingers due to the chiclet keys on my laptop. This keyboard has eased my hands and helped me become much more productive. Neutral: - This was a bit unexpected but these Blue Cherry MX were slightly less smooth than i thought would be. My friend bought a new Gamesir Keyboard with Outemu Blue Keys which felt smooth as silk upon press. However the MX grew on me fairly quickly. (I added this in neutral as it didn't harm my experience using the Strafe). - The Brightness and Win Lock Keys need to pressed slightly harder than one should, but i rarely use them. - Main cable is thick! Like holy crap this wasn't expected, but okay, its hidden in my desk anyways so who cares? - Main cable splits into 2 USB ports (one for the keyboard, the other is for the USB Passthrough). Laptop users beware, I made sure i had enough USB ports before i decided to purchase it. Cons: - This irritated me the most. Both Shifts & Controls keys, along with the backspace's stabilizers need some sort of lubrication because the keystroke isn't as smooth as i hoped for. So beware, make sure to purchase the correct type of lube otherwise you might damage your keyboard and void your warranty. Some posted on forums that the keys will "break after a certain amount of use", so i will see in the future whether they are right or not. -Can't remove the SPACE BAR key. Beware!! Many people attempted to clean their keyboards but ended up breaking the stabilizers on their space bar. So if you love customizing your set, bear in mind this note. Solutions: - Using O-rings can help reduce the clackiness of your keyboard by about 20-25% (I used 4mm o-rings on 70% of the keyboard). - If you are unsure what to buy, simply purchase a small key tester consisting of several different keys (Blue, Red, Brown, Black, Silver, Silent, White, Green etc ...) as they can really speed up your choice. (I recommend MX keys as they have a longer lifespan than others). Overall: 4.3 out of 5 Stars If you agree with most of what i have written, then this keyboard will serve you just fine. If not, then i hope you will find your dream keyboard! N.B.: The LED color isn't magenta/purple, its bright red (I took the pictures at night).

This is a very stylish, versatile mechanical keyboard for those on a budget. The keycaps, key switches, and the overall base of the keyboard itself are very high quality and feel great to press. The keyboard I received comes with linear red switches, and although I typically prefer brown switches as I like the tactile feel of them, these switches were smooth, responsive, and quiet to use. The keyboard also comes with a detachable USB-C cable, spare red switches, and a keycap/switch puller. The keyboard has an elegant premium design, but still remains surprisingly lightweight. It also has flip out feet stands to elevate it however you want, and the keyboard also acts as a mini USB hub- aside from the primary connection to your PC, there is a second USB-C port and full sized type-A port for other accessories. The keycaps on the keyboard are flat and have no indentation on them, so that may be an issue for those who prefer the grooves on other keys. The keys themselves feel great when pressing them, as they are smooth, light, and feel like they are floating, in a way. The switches are also much more quiet than my other keyboard, and although these linear switches don't have much of a tactile feel, the lower actuation point and quicker response of these keys make up for it. However, the only downside I noticed with this keyboard, is that due to the shape of the keycaps, it can throw off your hand memory and make you press the wrong key more frequently. For example, typing up short stories, grocery lists, or whatever it may be, can be more inconsistent and I have to pay more attention to what I am pressing so as to not make a mistake, whereas before I could look only at my screen and type with almost complete accuracy. It has also been an issue in a few games, where due to the shape, I have been pressing keys either above or next to the ones I am intending to press. While it may just take some time for me to get used to it, it has been slightly annoying to adjust. Overall, I love the style of this keyboard, and it is much quieter. The RGB lighting is vivid and bright, and even has multiple other styles for you to choose from. This keyboard is an excellent value, as it's as smooth and high quality as much more costly options. I highly recommend giving it a try, just be mindful of the keycap design possibly interfering with your writing technique.

I'm super picky about keyboards. I just wanted to state that up front. My favorite has been das Keyboard. I've tried SO many others. I started programming back in the days of the IBM Model M 101 keyboards (oh so sweet). Being able to take it apart once a year and clean the switch contacts was so satisfying. Over the past decade or so, since mechanical keyboards have once again become the rage, I've tried a lot. Most recently, SteelSeries, Logi G Pro, Ducky, and a few others. The Logi G Pro was nice but I kept having problems with their switches and kept having to change them. The SS died after less than a year and I couldn't get it fixed. The Duckys are great, but I could never find a basic colored one and I didn't like the funky colors. And soooooooooooo expensive. I kept reading reviews of Keychron and some were great and some not-so-great. I went TKL a few years ago to save desk space and compared all the Keychrons. For my desktop I don't need wireless but the K8 just seemed to match what I wanted. When it came in, I was impressed. I know it uses regular Gat switches (I went with Browns for pseudo-quiet typing). The layout and features are nice. I like having switches to turn it off if I'm not going to use it for a few days. Replaceable switches mean I hope it lasts a while. :-) And I love the ability to change switches if I want to. It feels decent and looks nice. It's a little bit bulkier than others that have a flat plate look to them. The included USB-C to USB-A cable is high quality with a right-angle connector for the keyboard but is a bit short. It is a bit echoey when typing and the space bar rings a lot. It doesn't have any "real" internal dampening so that's why. I know I could add dampening foam. The keycaps are crud. Very slick and thin. I hated them. I wound up buying a set of cheap shine through PBT keycaps on go-keyboard.com for about $25 and it's much better. The normal Gat switches aren't my favorite, but they'll do. I bought the "aluminum" frame version and just note only a rim around the keyboard is the only thing that is aluminum. The rest is super plasticy and feels a bit cheaper than others that have more aluminum / metal. But it doesn't feel "cheap" overall. For the price, I have not found a more comfortable, professional looking, and customizable keyboard... until the K8 QMK/VIA comes out. :) I already ordered the new K8 QMK/VIA after using this one for a while. It has all the best features of this K8 with some amazing upgrades. QMK/VIA support, double-shot PBT keycaps, Gat Pro switches (still replaceable), etc. Super excited for when it finally starts shipping. I'll keep this current K8 for other uses as it is really good.

I swap out keyboards like crazy, and for the price, I was a bit hesitant on this one. But after typing on one for a bit, I was convinced this was exactly what I've been looking for. All things considered, it is! The mid-height key caps are my favorite, but incredibly tricky to find, so this was one major selling point. Something about the balance between the old school full height keys and the chicklet/laptop style keys make them easy for me to type quickly. The spacing is just right. The brown switches are my favorite. Not obnoxiously noisy, so I can have that satisfying "clack" without feeling like I'm driving everyone else in the surrounding area totally nuts. Also just enough feedback from the tactile bump to know when a click will be registered. That said, a few of the keys are a bit sturdier than others, while some are a bit looser/wobblier. Overall, fairly happy with the quality. The wireless connectivity is flawless. Haven't experienced any issues with dropped keys or inability to connect. Only thing to note is that on boot, it does take a tiny bit of time before it connects and starts registering key presses, so if you're trying to say, access your BIOS or switch to a different boot drive, you'll have more luck repeatedly pressing the key you need as opposed to holding it down as you would with a wired board. Finally, love the overall look and feel. Was a bit hesitant to get a white keyboard, remembering some of the nasty looking boards from decades past, but it looks great on the desk so it was a sacrifice I was willing to make. The volume wheel and other audio control keys are a great addition, and the LEDs are nice and vibrant. Overall, for the price, I'm quite happy with this board. Great for typing. No issues when gaming. Its definitely not for everyone, but its a joy to use.
