I bought this keyboard because I thought I’d be able to use my keys from my old keyboard but I can’t!! This is my fault for not looking into what kind of keys they are. However it’s super quiet and still uses Icue. Wouldn’t recommend for gamers that like to customize their stuff.

Amazing feel, feels heavy and durable and holds a LONG charge, great value.

Just perfect, super comfortable and the wrist palm is really nice. RGB lights are amazing. Love this keyboard

I've been trying to find a suitable replacement for my amazing MX518 that's performed exceedingly well for the past 8 years. I tried the SteelSeries Sensei RAW piece and it was only sufficient at best. I didn't like how high my palm felt when resting on the mouse and the placement of the thumb/pinky buttons were not comfortable. That isn't the case with the M40. It feels perfectly natural and solid in my hand while the Sensei feels so cheap compared to it. I love the solid feel of the scroll wheel and the thumb buttons are properly placed. The attached side groove is a nice touch and the material has just the right amount of grip so you can really apply an accurate amount of control. The weight system on this is what makes the M40 really shine though. They're very easy to remove and switch, all you need is a flat head screwdriver or coin. It did take some trial and error with a few games to find a comfortable balance that suited my needs. In the end I'm using one weight located in the rear of the mouse, beneath my palm. YMMV. My one and only complaint is that there is no side scrolling with the wheel but this is a gaming mouse so my review won't subtract from that. I felt the software to be a bit more user friendly than the SteelSeries also. Windows 7 picked up the device immediately and the drivers and firmware update applied without issue. Be sure to download the package from Corsair instead of letting Windows decide the settings (corsair.com/downloads). The SteelSeries application wasn't as intuitive and would also crash once in a while. Overall I'm extremely happy I bought this. I even found myself rediscovering my game collection again because the mouse is so comfortable and smooth to use. One small tip: if you plan to buy this on go-keyboard.com, it's sort of a crap shoot to get the best price. I had this on my wishlist for about a week and it was first priced at MSRP but two weeks later it dropped to $41 so I pulled the trigger. Within A DAY the price rose $7 and then another $11 after that. At the time of this review it was currently priced at $58.99. So I would add it to your list then monitor it from time to time. With Corsair you're paying for the name but I personally wouldn't value this mouse higher than $50.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, and after a week I'm already hooked! The default keycaps are classy looking, but the orange escape is a little loud and stands out too much. I'd like to get a colorful set of keycaps for it, but this layout is not standard and not many keycap sets support it. You'll have to look for WhiteFox Vanilla or tsangan sets. Where a nice set might go for $50, to get the add-ons to support this keyboard layout will run you about twice that. Even still, I think I'm going to hang on to this keyboard for a long time.

A great keyboard all around, but mine had a slight defect. Certain keys have their top-left corners very close to the walls of the key bays. A few of them are so close that they stick if you press them up and to the left. My F9 key is so close that it sticks during normal use. Photos attached. As other reviewers have noted, the backlight performs a wave when your computer is asleep. There appears to be no way to change that. I don't mind it, but others might. Otherwise, fantastic keyboard. - Minimalist look. Matte finish on the body and the keys - Bright, adjustable backlight - Smooth, wide volume wheel - Customizable backlight. You can decide what keys you want lit, and there are some fun animation options like having the keys flash when you press them

It’s a little smaller than a normal keyboard but if you have small hands like me that’s not an issue. Love the color, the sound is amazing. Came with extra key caps and the tool used to replace keys

This is exactly what I was looking for in a compact small keyboard, I bought it as a secondary keyboard for my Xbox and my iPad which in my case I needed it to be wireless, I got the gateron red switch’s which sound decent, aren’t very loud(good thing), but I don’t think they are pre-lubed which I’m not complaining about. The stabilizers for the space key and such honestly sound better than my razer Blackwidow v3’s stabilizers, almost like they aren’t even there. It doesn’t say that it comes with a 2.4 ghz receiver but it does, Bluetooth and the 2.4 work great. I would definitely recommend this over the non pro version. Also it feels very premium and has a good weight to it. Personally I need all my extra keys so I wouldn’t use it as a main keyboard but if you don’t need all the extra keys or are looking to save space this is a great option.

The keyboard is great and sounds really good but when I tried to to the macro mode it didn’t work how I wanted it then I didn’t know how to fix it I had to watch videos till I figured that I had to plug it in a different usb slot overall the looks, and feels good the weight made it feel official and it came with a keycap puller for people who don’t have one.

Love the size and all the colored backlight effects Sounds amazing - red switch keys Works perfect!

i have been looking for a compact keyboard with quiet switches for a while because my other keyboard was way too loud it became annoying. i love how it can be both wireless (in two ways) and wired. i use it to game so i connect it to my laptop then output it to a monitor, making it very convenient. also, the RGB addition looks very cool when gaming at night.

Simply like it

Great feel. I can use the side buttons without moving my thumb, very important when you're in a fast paced situation. Very clicker buttons and wheel: highly recommend if you like clicky. Battery has lasted longer than i have ever needed (4+ hours). Very useful having blue tooth, 2.4, and wired as options. Worth every penny if you want something robust, medium in size, and wireless.

Got my Razer Ornata Chroma (Certified Refurbished from Razer) and it came in a Razer box, with all of the instructional/ warranty papers included. works exactly as it should and gives my PC the premium ergonomics/ appearance I have been looking for. of course there are similar keyboards on the market at a lower price. I just fell in love with this keyboard when I used my friends so I felt ever so inclined to get one. the clicky sounds and tactile feel are within the perfect balance of not obnoxiously loud or hard, yet extremely satisfying. the Razer Synapse 3.0 software makes RGB controls a breeze and overall I have no complaints.

This keyboard feels amazing! The lighting is super smooth and it has several modes and brightness settings, the battery life is pretty good, about 6-8hrs at least. I tend to use it wired when at my desk, and wireless when out and about. The keyboard is small enough to fit in a backpack and can connect to 3 devices with BT. It is a really nice weight and feels super sturdy. The only thing I dont love is it takes about 5 seconds to reconnect to bluetooth after it goes to sleep, but you can disable the power saving mode and keep it always connected which is nice. It’s great that the function keys are mapped to mac by default, could not be happier!
