   It works with no fuss on Linux. Plus it seems like they have a decent community, so even if your distro has a hiccup, you’re not going to need to solve any problems yourself. No backlight (as advertised). I don’t know what to say, it’s a keyboard that works.

   Wanted a new MacOS keyboard to use when I dock my M1 MacBook Air into a USB-C hub to a computer monitor at my desk. The non-Backlit Brown Switches KeyChron K2 at the time I purchased was on a flash sale at $31.50, super good deal at that price. I’m coming from laptop-style Bluetooth keyboard so this thicker KeyChron K2 is still taking some time to get used to. The look of my specific K2 in the photos is grey/white so it gives to me an older 2000’s vibe of computer keyboards. The key feeling for the included Brown switches is more “thocky” with a little “clicky” in terms of Mechanical Keyboard switches, so watch YouTube comparison videos between Red vs Brown vs Blue, etc. mechanical switches to see if you’d like the Brown switches, but they’re fine for me. Red or Blue switches may feel more pleasing to your fingers and typing habits. You may not like how high this keyboard is unless you get a wrist rest pad. Again, I came from low laptop-style keyboard so this K2 is significantly thicker than what I’ve used. My model is non-backlit so that’s a bummer, but that could be why my model was on sale. If you buy a back-lit version of the Keychon K2. Can’t go wrong with any KeyChron to be honest.

   Use it for gaming. It feels great, and angle and position is right, and the buttons have good depth. For the price, it’s a fantastic buy.

   I picked this up to use with my work-from-home laptop, and I love it. It beats the pants off the poor chicklet-style keyboard that I was provided by my organization. The keys are responsive, and the feel it great. I also love the smaller footprint of the device. I have no complaints.

   Out of the box it didn’t sound so good, you could do some DIY mods to get the sound profile you want. The reason for the 4 stars is more the BT connection which would go out every so often. I updated drivers and tried on different computers with the same result. Prob just a one-off since I have other keychrons that have worked fine.

   Great construction and good keyboard. Only bad thing is it’s not backlit. No reason it should not be backlit. Ordered this color to prevent finger prints and grease or oils on it. Works great staying clean looking. Bluetooth works flawless. Would recommend 10/10
