For the 1st year this was an amazing keyboard, the feel when using it is outstanding and the design is gorgeous. But one week after the warranty ended my 9 key from the numpad suddenly started looking out of place with the rest of the keys, looking deeper I found that the blue LED in the switch had died and now it only had the red and the green, and months later the 5 key from the numpad followed it. This doesn’t affect the use of the keyboard as the switches still work and register the input when stroked but for a keyboard this expensive it’s really painful to have to switch your custom lighting profile because of this nuisance. Tried Asus support and they wanted me to ship the keyboard for inspection and diagnosis charging me $35USD but I don’t live in the US or Canada so they basically told me good luck repairing it, tried contacting Asus in my region and no luck, tried to get them to sell me only the switches but that was a negative, tried looking for this ROG RX Red Switches to try and buy them but there can’t be found anywhere and from what I have researched it looks like this switches may not be swappable. So I’m feeling pretty bored with this expensive keyboard that has no way of changing 2 switches, can’t recommend this keyboard or Asus anymore.

I like the feel of the keyboard, the keystrokes are really nice, you get a lighter sound when hitting keys compared to other mech keyboards. Good weight doesnt feel like a cheap product, and price wasnt bad. Bought a Steel series a week before this one, I shoulda picked up 2 of these instead of the steel series. woulda saved some money. Only thing I dont like is i wish it had a aluminum backplate

This is a great keyboard but after a year, the LEDs for two of the keys started changing colors. I normally keep it as all white LEDs but the two went off white and eventually one even became fully yellow.

After torturing by debating my self which one should i buy ?? Liner, Tactile or Clicky … etc ? Came across this one on Asus site and made quick decision to have this one . After years of exclusivly using Logitech G and Corsair keyboards (various switches..), I was curious to try Asus’s RX switches. They blew me away! Not only are the switches extremely stable, but they’re also super smooth (feels like they’re factory lubed). The quality is superb and and the RGB LEDs are very bright. Despite what people are saying about the Armor Crate software, I didn’t have any issues setting up the keyboard. I was able to quickly create and save some custom profiles. As a keyboard guy, Im really impressed! Looking forward to the next iterations from Asus.

I had previously owned a razer keyboard that was clicky, load, and hard to press. I bought the Scope RX and the linear, optical switches actually feel so amazing. They’re pretty quiet as well. The stabilizers on the keyboard are cream of the crop and the key caps will not shift/move much. Because they’re red style switches, they’re really easy to press. Initially, I had problems adjusting to the keyboard and my wpm dropped from around 110-70
but after a day of using, I’ve adjusted it to 94 wpm with 100% accuracy. RGB on the board is really good and comes with a lot of cool patterns if that’s your thing. Overall, the quiet sound, easy presses, and solid build quality of the keyboard is a solid 5/5 from me.

Coming from a Logitech G413, this is a dream keyboard, no need to install any of the software to be able to control any of the lighting schemes. Also the passthrough USB works flawlessly. Both of these features were what led me to the G413 in the first place but they are much better switches and the lighting schemes are much more advanced on this keyboard. I might end up picking up another one just to have one at the ready should this one ever have an issue. Excellent value as well.

I bought it new. It came in a retaped box, not in the protective sleeve, no user guide, and 1 of the stickers was missing because the previous person left the cover film in the box. Love asus products, but when I buy new, I expect new as if something is wrong with it, it is easier for repair or replacement. Disappointed to be honest.

Este teclado es considerado Tier S en varias Tier lista y la verdad es que lo puedo confirmar. Es bastante cómodo de usar, está conformado por materiales de buena calidad y las teclas son sumamente suaves.
La configuración de este teclado es optomecánico y la verdad es que se siente muy bien, el descenso de la tecla es completamente recto y no se traba al regresar. (Este teclado también tiene una variante con switches Cherry MX.)

En cuanto al RGB es uniforme y se ve muy bien, además de contar con bastantes configuraciones (es necesario instalar el software Armoury Create (sí, otro software más ;_;)).
Y finalmente, respecto al puerto USB extra y el cableado, se nota de calidad, sin embargo, es un cable bastante grueso y difícil de flexionar, por lo que recomendaría un abuela gestión de cables para que no se vea amontonado.

Teclado 100% recomendado, eso sí, recomiendo tener espacio suficiente para colocarlo.

Had several mechanical keyboards from Corsair. None of them held up over time or came with the standard features at a similar price as this one! Asus knocked it out of the park with this phenomenal keyboard. The keys are have a slight sound to them but go down very easily with just a hair of tension. It’s a pleasure to push in the keys. The keyboard like many other gaming keyboards is fully RGB customizable. This keyboard is also completely waterproof! I didn’t know until I opened the box but the keyboard has an aluminum backboard to it which is very elegant and gives the keyboard a premium feel. The keys are all red mx keys. The sound keys, boss key, and play pause skip is all very useful being in the F5-12 spots. As a gamer/business professional I never used those keys anyway. Had several keyboards in my many years of gaming. Not one was nearly as nice as this. Asus should be asking over $200 for this keyboard. I highly recommend it.

I had been buying cheap keyboards all my life, and now that I’m an adult with adult money, I wanted something nice, so I bought this keyboard. First off, it’s a big chunky thing, which makes me happy. Secondly, it comes with a program so that you can program profiles for various games, seasons, moods, etc. My only con about this is it is not wireless, which is not a deal breaker, just what I am used to having. The keys give proper click clack but on a slightly quieter scale. Keystrokes are quick, with no lag or stutter. I absolutely love this keyboard and the functions that would take an hour to list.
