   TL;DR: Best MX Cherry Blue mechanical keyboard in the market; horrible packaging! Short story: I owned this bad boy a few years ago when I was looking to purchase my first mechanical keyboard. After about a year, I switched to the Logitech G910 (Not the best idea). Aside from the RGB that the G910 offered, I was disappointed in the key feedback and sound. I like resistance in my typing and prefer the better sound whilst gaming. I now purchased this and said good bye to the G910. I am glad I did, I love the feel and will never switch from this again. Love the product! 1 issue though: The package it came in was horrible. That is why I am giving it 4 stars. I like to sell and trade my gaming equipment and really take care of my products so I can resell it for the best possible price/trade value. When I received the box, it was in “what looked like used” condition and I was very disappointment (see images). I am not sure why they did that but I can’t complain about the keyboard, just bad packaging.

   If this is you first mechanical keyboard, let me start of by saying you will need time to adjust to it. It took me a while for me due to the fact that I came from a dell membrane keyboard, I would accidentally press other keys when I was trying to type something. Love the backlight and the fast response, only drawback is the price but overall happy with my purchase.

   Really like this “clicky” mechanical keyboard – I purchased the keyboard with the MX Blue switches, red LEDs only. Nice that you can turn the background key lighting off completely if you want to, or just activate the LEDs for certain keys. An absolutely wonderful upgrade for the cheap, flimsy, compact HP keyboard that came with my all-in-one PC; that keyboard has those nasty (to me) soft keys with no feedback at all which I highly dislike. Maybe it is because many many years ago, I learned to type on an actual typewriter (yep, I’m old!) but I like a keyboard that feels and sounds like a keyboard, whose keys can be pressed with precise conviction! I am sure it improves my typing accuracy, too. 😛 Oh, and the braided cable for the USB connectors (you do need to have two open USB ports to connect the keyboard, by the way, in case that isn’t clear from the specs) is a nice touch, too, quite handsome looking, actually, and long enough for those that might want to sit further back from their monitors.

   Highly recommended for those who want a responsive, well-made and nice looking keyboard.

   Compré este teclado exclusivamente para programar y estoy muy contento. Tardé en decidirme por un teclado mecánico pero no me arrepiento. Este Corsair es un teclado muy robusto (carcasa de aluminio creo) y junto con los interruptores Cherry Mx Blue lo hacen perfecto para escribir.

    Omg I love this keyboard! Lighting is super bright, mechanical keys clickity clack lick no one’s business, and the extra audio keys are actually useful, such as the metal roller for volume. I’ve never powned such quality in a keyboard, arguably my most used input device. The double USB cord is braided nylon and super heavy duty, the body of the keyboard is aluminum. And its worth every penny.

    I love this keyboard’s design and the key feels great. Mine is 2016 Cherry MX blue-red led edition. It is my first mechanical keyboard, and I choose this version because I like the audible clicky sound of Cherry MX blue. There’s some problems though: I notice a slight scratch on the keyboard at the edge of bottom center of the keyboard which leave a noticeable loss of its coating, but I can take it considering the distance it has been shipped. Another thing being the space bar key cap is different from the display picture. I’ve read someone review saying that it is different from the display picture, and I see why he’s complained. I love the keyboard overall design, but I want the space bar key cap with dash-led-design like the display. They should have at least update the display pic, so that I know what I should be expecting when I put my order. The new design on the space bar key cap is not appealing to me at all.

    When I first took it out of the package and started typing I was very impressed at the quality and feel. Since then, the initial impression has faded. First of all, Linux support is terrible. You’d think a USB keyboard should “just work”, but it has this switch on back to use either a polling rate of 1-8 ms, or “BIOS Mode”. The former doesn’t work well with Linux (num lock / caps lock lights don’t respond and a few other issues), while “BIOS Mode” causes the Scroll Lock light to blink continuously, which is highly distracting (according to the manual this is a “feature” to remind you to turn off BIOS Mode). Secondly, I’ve noticed that the paint is uneven on some of the keys, allowing red light to shine through. I’ll need to touch them up with a marker or something. See attached picture of the space bar. The light on the keys also shines out from underneath (each key has a separate LED), so if your monitor is nearby it causes a highly distracting reflection in the monitor. Also the LEDs have a flicker that is straining on the eyes (this is likely from the technique they use to brighten/dim the LEDS). Overall it’s a pretty nice keyboard but I’m much less happy with it than I thought I’d be.

    Awesome mechanical keyboard, i bought the k70 whit blue cherrys version and its awesome the “click” sound and the touch experience. I bought it in the 12/2 and it cames to my house in 12/5, 2 days early and the package was in good state. If you don’t want the RGB version or you want the blue cherry, buy this keyboard, the only bad thing than it has is than doesn’t has a “gaming” spacebar (other keys “gaming” has a different red texture, like wasd and 1,2,3,4,5 and 6).
