   I was looking for for this model of the Corsair K70 RGB CH-9000119-NA. This is the English (USA) version and this company carried this version for the lowest price I could find. It was packaged well and the shipping was fast. Would buy again from this outfit.

   Best Keyboard Ever! The switches feel and sound great. The constitution is solid and seems like it will last a long time. The colors seem very accurate and the color white actually looks white. I’ve seen some key boards that have some RGB elements work better than others so colors like white would have a blue tint to them. This key board does not have that problem. The only Con I’ve found with this product is the software. Corsair could have done a much better job with the software. Basic elements like having keys turn off after some amount of inactivity is missing. So get ready for you monitor to go to sleep but your keyboard to stay on for as long as the computer is. You can manually turn off the LEDs by use of the dimmer button, but that should be automated. The software also has a learning curve. So the average user will have to do some reading to understand how it works. In all fairness the hard ware is bang on and does not need any improvements. But the software still needs a lot of work. And that’s not a deal breaker for me. Corsair can easily send updates once they basically rewrite the software from scratch.

   Previously, I used a Razer Black Widow Tournament Edition. That keyboard had green switches which were loud, oddly shaped, and spaced unevenly, with no tactile feel to them. Though they actuated quickly, it wasn’t effective at all because in three years I never once got use to the actuation point. The Corsair K70 RGB changed my life, I sat down and began typing a long test letter in Word which was designed to hit every key on the keyboard. After I finished I noticed that typing was much easier. I made less mistakes because the keys were spaced evenly and where in a location my brain expected them to be. Though the actuation point is a bit lower I know exactly where it actuates at because the tactile feel of the keyboard. The keys are much more fluid then the keys on the Razer keyboard. Overall I get a much stronger feeling of quality from this keyboard after just a day. The brushed aluminum is barely noticeable, so it’s not distracting. In areas of soft light, however, like edges and highlights, you can see the brushed aluminum finish giving it a very stylish look that fits well on my dark brown desk.

   Amazing keyboard, I thought it was gunna be loud from the reviews I watched but its quiet which is sweet, lighting awesome it feels smooth and now my little brother want to sell his razerchroma keyboard for this one, NOW everyone complaining about the utility engin needs to stop and do research like I did corsair main focuse is on the engin so quit complaing about it and be patient

   Great RGB, love the MX Brown switches. Typing feels like having sex, comparer to rubber dome (yes it’s my first.. Mechanical keyboard). Light customization is so extensive I haven’t delved into it, but plan to. Wrist rest is made of soft rubber which feels comfortable. One thing that made me disappointed is that it arrived scratched. While it was shipped internationally, there was no damage to the packaging, so this must have happened in factory. Shipping to Europe took only about a week.

   I’ve had this keyboard for a few days now, it replaced my Logitech G710 mechanical gaming keyboard (due to the known/dreaded flaw of the CTRL key breaking) that I had for several years. So far, this keyboard has been an okay replacement for my Logitech. It has a good tactile response to the keys and the audible click clack of the keyboard is nice (not everyone in my household is a fan). One of the downsides is the lack of documentation on how to setup the keyboard through the utility. It took me a few minutes to figure out how it exactly worked and I’ve yet to setup a custom lighting scheme. There does seem to be a large array of customization options. The jury is still out on whether it is better than my Logitech G710.

   The brown switches help me type faster and still feel good while gaming. The keyswitches are much louder than a normal keyboard but that’s what you should expect with any mechanical keyboard. For the price I would almost wish that it came with something more, but I am a corsair fanboy and this is exactly what I payed for and I have no regrets.

    The keyboard feels like it is built well and functioned properly for over a year. I started experiencing key “chattering,” which is apparently somewhat common.

    Opening a ticket for an RMA was easy enough, and the reps were helpful. However, this is where the positive experience ended. I shipped my keyboard back to Corsair using their return label, and it arrived a few days later. It has now been a month and a half since they have had my keyboard, and the customer support has been horrible. I’ve received responses such as the warehouse team “cannot find it, are not available, etc.” Each rep tells me they will email me an update that day or the next, and it never happens. They are just kicking the problem down the road each time.

    I will never be ordering a Corsair product again, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to look into other manufacturers. Their products may look pretty, and the item may function properly for its estimated lifetime, but if it does have a problem, you might be SOL.
