   Arrived blazing fast. Smooth and nice cherry red mx switches on this one, could probably be better if it had o-rings installed on it.
   Love the leds, they are all even brightness and functional. I did find the lighting effects software buggy on windows 10. I find them distracting when flashing in my periphery while typing so that doesnt bother me to not use it. No broken keys/switches. This thing is built like a tank. The spec page on corsair site didn’t mention that this has a steel inner plate (and its heavy). More expensive ones list this as a feature. Been using it for a week and it takes fingerprints a bit easily. No wrist rest included and its pretty high to the top of the keys. That and the o-rings would make it perfect. Good value at ~$105

   I’ve been using the K65 for a couple years and it’s been solid. This one is very similar. Same Cherry MX keys. The cord on the K63 is solid but doesn’t detach like the K65. The LEDs are very bright. Three brightness settings. I would prefer another step dimmer for dark rooms. Overall this is a great mechanical keyboard and I can easily top 100 wpm. I use it on MacOS. You have to swap the command and option modifier key mapping in System Preferences.

   When I opened it, there were 3 buttons that have”popped?” off of the keyboard. I first thought it was due to the shipping but it was very well packaged and upon further inspection, I noticed that the three keys in question wouldn’t stay on the keyboard very well (very easy to pull them off compared to the other keys) so I guess this keyboard won’t be traveling anywhere with me… This is my first mechanical keyboard so I had high expectations for it since they’re always praised by everyone and their mothers. Needless to say, I don’t see what all the fuss is about coming from a membrane switches. I have only had it for not even 36 hours so it may grow on me. They keys are a lot squishier than I was hoping for but they all seem to be pretty consistent. The lighting effects you can make with the CUE software is pretty neat but it gets kind of old after a while and you just want them to be to turned onto a solid color or a very low key effect (ha).

   I knew it was a few years ago when I last bought this guy (Kibi), but didn’t know it’s been THAT long. This was my first ever mechanical switch keyboard–around 2018 my friends had hypes with red switches and me being on a budget since I wasn’t particularly out of highschool yet–I ended up buying this keyboard. I’m still typing with it now, you know–as I write this review. It’s kind of bittersweet because I’m actually about to buy a new one, but it won’t be this guy anymore. Now that I’m close to graduating, and I have a job–I can afford a keyboard that’s a little bit more pricier. I’ll have to get another one that may be a better fit for the stuff I do now. Positive Arc: As you can see from the picture, yes this guy is still as bright as I first got it!! None of the keys ever lost their light. I was actually skeptic at buying at first since there was a lot of reviews going through the lights issue, but I don’t know if I just got lucky err anyway they’re still pretty much bright. No signs of wearing out lights anytime soon! I had a blast with this keyboard when I first got it too because it was my first ever clickidy clacky experience–albeit with the reds. I typed a lot of essays, and personal statements since I got Kibi during senior year of hs so lots of college apps, and Kibi did not disappoint. I played a lot of rhythm games like osu which required me to spam click keys very fast + mashing + spamming, and Kibi still didn’t disappoint. I raged a few times and slammed my fists on Kibi, and Kibi still didn’t disappoint. This guy could withstand a lot and I mean a LOT. Also I said sorry for the hurt I did to Kibi–put the keys that flew away back on him while mumbling my apologies. I started playing league and I had to you know, press keys fast for skillshots also didn’t disappoint–not until now. Sad Arc: I don’t wanna blame this guy, since it’s been a wild run. Its got a few years behind it so I figured it might be that and Kibi’s finally showing its age. The problems that I’m starting to face now: – My ctrl key keeps flying off everytime I miss and not press the center–if I press the side/corner of the ctrl key at least 3 times it flies off. It might’ve gotten loose over time? who knows. This also happens with the 4 and 5 key up top and tab key. – My backspace button has become sticky, and it gets stuck mid way or sometimes I have to press it hard again to get it back up. Might be dirt inside the actual switch? I’m not sure but there’s that. I take the keys off and clean the board every now and then so I’m not sure why it’d just start doing that. – Oh and finally, I’ve been facing sensitive issues. I mean, they’re reds so they’re supposed to be sensitive, but now when I press one skillshot let’s say my q key. It also ends up activating my w key! I shrugged it off since usually their cooldowns are low and it looks silly every now and then. Though when it started affecting apex (because I started playing apex legends recently fps shooter) I use my ult out of nowhere when I’m just looting or throwing grenades–it becomes a tad bit embarrassing and it can usually lose us the game. Since it’s not just a skillshot I can wait for on a low cooldown and look silly–it’s a bit more serious :(. Sad to say, but sometimes I have to let go. Don’t let this scare you buying your first one though! I have no regrets buying this guy for my first mech keyboard. Since it’s also kind of on the cheaper side it was worth its buck for me since Kibi lasted so long. Who knows yours might last longer–depends on how you take care of it. I wasn’t the best cleaner since I had no cleaning kit for keyboards whatsoever. Anyway that’s that. Goodbye old friend, you gave me a great time.

   Keyboard was delivered and some of the keycaps are not intact. Not sure how keycaps can be removed during shipping. Those keycaps can be removed with minimal effort as you can see in the video. The LED on the “previous” button is dim compared the others. Other than that all seems to work okay so far.

    I bought this keyboard because I .. 1. Wanted silent keys. 2. Needed tenkeyless keys for more mouse space. 3. Needed RGB for playing at night. 4. Had Multimedia to easily control music while gaming. However, the problems with this keyboard is that even though this is a “silent” keyboard know that it’s very common for Red Cherry MX switches to make this “Pinging” noise . Unfortunately for whatever reason the pinging noises were loudest on my WASD keys I had to buy the thickest O Rings to get rid of the sound. The product also shipped with defective LED lights. The actuation force varies on a lot of keys which really annoys me when I am typing. For this reason I give this product 2 stars. EDIT: Got a replacement for my old faulty keyboard and now this one works great with little pinging noise when I type.

    This keyboard is really delivers the features, and delivered very well it did. Pros: The red backlighting is really vibrant and lovely, being able to customize it using the CUE software was really great too! The dedicated media buttons have helped quite a lot, allowing me to adjust it with just one finger without pressing the Fn key, The keyboard is really worth its weight, and the quality of the keyboard really stands out very much even though it’s has a plastic chassis Cons: The function key is missing! I needed to emphasize this as some people I know need to use the Fn key for other purposes, As I am using this keyboard along with a laptop, I’ll sometimes have to use the laptops’ Fn key once in awhile. The CUE software is relatively easy to use, however with the advance settings turned on, the learning curve can rise quite steep. I’ll update this review in a years’ time and see when it has withstood the test of time, for now I have used it quite often and it has stayed very strong with one week of usage.

    Previously had a Razer Ornata keyboard and really loved that keyboard, but I was tired of always hitting my mouse against the side of the keyboard while gaming. So I searched for a shorter keyboard that still had everything I needed minus the keypad on the right side. Well in the end I went with this keyboard and couldn’t be happier. The keyboard functions perfectly, I play many fast paced FPS games that require quick and easy button clicking. The K63 does that perfectly without being a large full-size keyboard. Some reviews state that the buttons kind of have a high pitched ping sound to them and I will have to agree they do make that sound. While this might bother some people I honestly stopped noticing it within an hour, also don’t most gamers have a headset on anyways? To be clear this keyboard isn’t quite nor is it loud, I think its in my opinion on the lower end of the noise scale for a fully mechanical keyboard. One thing that I wish was that it came with a wrist wrest, I noticed some reviews talk about it coming with a wrist rest but my wired K63 did not come with one. I ordered out 2 different wrist rest on go-keyboard.com for ten keyless keyboards and neither seemed to feel right with it. So I pulled my Razer wrist rest back out the drawer and am just using that till I solve this darn wrist rest issue.(If you look at my picture you will see the Razer wrist rest under the K63, this is a size comparison as you can see how much longer a standard size keyboard is to this K63) Would recommended to anyone wanting a smaller gaming keyboard

    This is a compact keyboard without the 10 numeric keys (a.k.a. 10-keyless), and the key switches used are called Cherry MX RED. A little research showed that the Cherry switches of various colors denote different key travels, pressures and tactile feedbacks, and they are made by a German company (Cherry MX) with extensive testing and quality control. I thought I’d try this one over a myriad of low cost keyboards. Corsair is a name I came to trust over the years for power supplies, memory and USB drives. The keyboard came with a shipping label slapped on the display box, without any additional packaging outside. The keyboard arrived fine, but I think I will request an go-keyboard.com box next time just in case, by checking an option during checkout. The keyboard has a substantial feel to it, heftier than the full size OEM keyboards one often sees. This version has only red lights and not the rainbow colors. The key travels are smooth and quiet without clicking. Of course on bottoming depending on how hard you mashed it, it will make some noise. The RED switch has an operating force of 45g (while some others are 60g). The 4 mm bottoming travel seems just a tad long than common OEM keyboards, but one can get used to it easily. Another Cherry switch would be the Brown, which has the same operating force but will give a tactile bump at 2 mm with the same 4 mm bottoming travel. Maybe I will try the Brown some time. The iCUE software (need to download from Corsair’s website), allows adjustment of LED brightness and other functions. The default lighting “pattern” is a sweeping column of light like a wave in a sports arena going from left to right and back again. A button allows the LED to be turned off or adjusted to one of 3 intensity levels. Another button turns off the “Windows” key so the Windows Start Menu does not pop up and block your view in the middle of a game while you are playing. Overall I am impressed with the quality of this keyboard.

    This keyboard is great. The cherry red feels great whilst typing and playing FPS games (Destiny 2). The lighting is also helpful at times. Overall, I’d recommend this product if you could purchase it for $60 or under. I took off one star because my keyboard oddly had two of the same “]}” keys. (pic)
