Just got the Keychron K1 SE with RGB and the brown Gateron switches on Prime Day sale, and I really love it. The large keys are stabilized well and the chassis feels quite solid, especially the aluminum top; some gripe about the plastic bottom chassis but I see no issue. I use blue switches at home, but I bought this keyboard for use at the office, where my gleeful violent typing would have driven my colleagues mad were my keyboard loud. The brown switches are a decent middle ground, although the tactility is pretty subtle to me. Packaging is excellent. Animated RGB patterns are gaudy for my taste, but there are some more dignified patterns to choose from. This is replacing an Apple Magic Keyboard at work, whose low profile I like, but which has too little travel for my tastes and does not easily support multiple pairings. Apple also doesn’t have a TKL option. For less than $100, I feel like this was an excellent value.

I am a software developer. Choosing the right keyboard is like choosing my soulmate. I think I can say my experience as a developer is similar to many other developers. I had been looking for a perfect keyboard for quite some time. I had hesitations about this brand since I had not used this brand before. just right before I pressed “buy now” of the hyper x linear switch keyboard, which has the same form factor as this one. I saw Keychron k1 SE was on sale. So, therefore, I took a leap of faith to try to this one. This keyboard will not disappoint you.
Keyboard’s height is right amount so my hand can reach function keys without lifting entire arms. shallow shapes design of the keys helps me to type accurately without hitting neighbor keys. The red switch has linear configuration that give me the feeling smooth and not too much tactile feeling but still very smooth.
Overall, if you are writing or typing regularly, this keyboard has my recommendation. it is the perfect tool for many peoples who has small hands and prefer smooth feeling when typing in long period of time.

levo ya 4 meses y medio con este teclado y aun se siente como el primer dia, los primeros 10 dias me costo trabajo acostumbrarme a la altura y a no presionar sin querer el enter en lugar de utilizar los puntos y comas, pero ahora es super sencillo de utilizar pase de 60 palabras maximas por minuto en mi antiguo teclado de membrana a 80 con este.

El teclado está bonito, suena super bien, tiene un tacto suave, la iluminación está muy bien, es delgado y compacto, todo iba bien hasta que en un instante se le comenzó a terminar la batería, y comenzó a parpadear el led rojo. Lo comencé a usar mientras se cargaba y no se terminó de cargar al parecer. Sin embargo, lo dejé conectado por horas, el led verde no se apagaba queriendo decir que no se había terminado de cargar. Cuando vuelvo a intentar conectarlo vía bluetooth el teclado ya no quiere ni prender. Lo peor de todo es que ya pasaron más de 30 días y no puedo regresarlo, por eso le doy una estrella.
