I am an engineering student who spends a lot of time daily on a keyboard. Once I took the keyboard out of its packaging I quickly noticed its amazing quality. The Keychron K7 is absolutely perfect for me as it is small enough to fit in my backpack. So far, I have mainly used it to type essays and for programming but I have played a few games with it as well. It has performed super well and honestly surpassed my expectations.

Bought this keyboard for my ipad pro because I didnt want to buy a new laptop. So far, the wireless connection works great, a little confusing at first but great. I also really like the feel of the keyboard, I got linear red switches, and they just feel different but smooth. Keyboard does clack, but I think its the best keyboard for its price. I dont use function keys, so I cant judge the keyboard for that. I just type type type and so far its great
really enjoying this keyboard.

For anyone not super into the keyboard mod scene, this is a SOLID keyboard. The frame is sturdy, and not too heavy. I don’t know if the switches come prelubed, but they sound great out of the box. Plus, the overall functionality right out of the box is great!
I bought this 68 as a travel keyboard, and it’s absolutely perfect for it. I think it may be a little too small to be a full keyboard replacement, but the low profile strokes make it great for typing and working on the go.

Bought this keyboard for doing work, because I was getting tired of the sound of my old keyboard. This is an amazing keyboard, everything feels very smooth and clean, especially the sound. It was very easy to connect to the PC wirelessly, although the one thing I still don’t know how to do is see how much battery it has and I am not too sure if that is an option. Overall a really good keyboard, a bit regretful that I didn’t get the RGB backlight ones.

I will probably return this keyboard. The feel is nice. I’m older, so and unfortunately NOT a touch typist. The tiny fonts for period, comma, tilde etc. are barely distinguishable. I’ve been having trouble with the “L” key not sending a signal, then I end up with 4 ‘s in a row.
…And the deal-breaker: Overloading the ESC, Tilde and squiggly characters is a fail. (Yeah I know that character probably has a real name, I’m not going to look it up.) I depend on the Command-Tilde shortcut. Installing the 3rd party open source Karabiner software with extra plugin or whatever loaded did not work to regain that feature. Right now, I do not even know how to get a squiggly character out of this without going into the Mac character app.

I have bought two of these, and both of them are great. Very easy to type on and the quality is there, very well made.
The first unit I bought had the brown switches as I was worried about the blue switches it being to clickity…it wasn’t. I then bought the KB with the blue switches, and it is amazing. I took the brown one to work and enjoy having the same KB there. The blue switches might be loud for some people, but are great for me.
I haven’t used the KB wirelessly yet so can’t comment on that. The lighting is great, I turned of the flashy stuff and just have an evenly lit setup. I have a Mac at home, and a PC at work and just flip the switch on the back and it translate well between the two. Great product.

The dual connectivity options of Bluetooth and wired connections offer versatility, allowing me to easily switch between devices. Additionally, the battery life on the wireless mode is impressive, lasting for several days of continuous use before needing a recharge.
Typing on the Keychron K7 is a satisfying experience, thanks to the responsive mechanical switches. The customizable RGB lighting adds a touch of personalization and flair to my workspace.
The only minor drawback is the initial adjustment to the ultra-slim design, which took some getting used to. However, once I adapted to the key layout, typing became seamless and enjoyable.

I bought this for work as I am an IOS Developer, and spend a lot of time at my desk typing. When I made the purchase, it was very much a last-minute decision and not very thought through. I kind of regretted it as it was on it’s way, but thought I would still give it a chance. I opened it and immediately was so glad I made this purchase. It is very sturdy with a mostly aluminum body, and the white backlit keys, it feels like the perfect cross between productivity and gaming. I am totally in love with the red switches, as they have such a great feel to them. They are not too “tough” to press in, and have such a great sound to them. As I do work in an office setting, I was worried that this keyboard would be too “clacky” and annoy my co-workers, but they can barely hear it from where they are, and from what I hear, it has such a great sound. The backlighting has over 10 different modes, and the lighting can be adjusted to the desired brightness. I love the color scheme to it. So overall, I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for a good deal on a small low-profile bluetooth keyboard.
