    This keyboard is slim, micro switch (blue switch), light click, so satisfying. I work in routers all day and thought I’d miss the number pad but man this thing is beast. Solid slim, good battery usually get 1.5 weeks worth charge on Bluetooth 40 hour work weeks. Could be brighter on keys but I’m good on that. Not to flashy. Let’s do get dirty due to the plastic. But alcohol wipe and it’s brandnew. Super satisfying keyboard no wrist rest needed either.

    I’ve been using the Keychron K1 (brown switches) in the past, just tried the K7 with mint switches. I AM IN LOVE! Pros: I really love the heavier, more pronounced bump before the key activations. Makes typing much more “crisp”. So if you want something that doesn’t feel like a linear switch, the Mint is the way to go! The compact form factor is also a plus. The added legs are nice touches. While the K1 offered a good enough typing angle, having the ability to adjust it is certainly a nice addition. What could be better: The RGB lighting isn’t bright enough to make a difference during day time. The sounds are *much* quieter compared to the brown switches. I would love it even more if the mint switches could be a tad louder, to match the tactile bump that you feel when typing. The tilda and back tick are all on the ESC key. So programming, same-app window switching (on Mac) and terminal usage are a bit more challenging than before. Overall, a very solid product by Keychron!

    I love how they have the esc button painted in orange, fabulous. The keys feel clicky and tactile.

    However, the Bluetooth connectivity to my Mac mini is quite unstable. I had to reset and pair again every couple weeks.

Then I got this one, really out of my expectation, it’s solid, pretty, and feeling good when typing on it. I love this keyboard, the only con may be the battery draining super fast compared to my magic board.

    Compact and low-noise. However, the keys are way too sensitive and you can’t rest your fingers on the keys when you are not actively typing. Slightest passive weight from your fingers will trigger key input. You will find yourself ending up straining your hands to prevent this effect, or removing your hands off the keyboard at rest.
