I don’t know why a good keyboard has to be ruined by setting it up for Apple use by default. The included Windows replacement keys have weird icons and there’s strangely no menu key. Windows users (the dominant OS by an insane margin) are basically an afterthought and the experience suffers as a result. Chromebooks even have a greater market share than Mac OS. It should be labelled a Mac keyboard because it’s really not universal. Flipping that switch and swapping the keys doesn’t make it a Windows keyboard, it just makes it kind of work as one. Other issues: it doesn’t automatically switch to USB mode when plugged in and Bluetooth stops working. The keycaps are hard to read. The dedicated RGB button is poor use of space and the colour scheme is just as ugly in person as in pictures.

Oh my god, its like breathing fresh air after a sandstorm. bought the logitech G pro at the beginning of the month, and after 3 weeks, it was already failing. double register, sticking keys, no registering. tried to get a exchange for the keychron K8 but for some reason go-keyboard.com wouldnt let me. thus, i bought the K8 and returned the Pro afterwards. best decision i have made. the K8 is wireless, the key press are snappy, and the RGB is great. i like to use red with the dimmest setting at night. i havent tried, but i think i can upgrade K8 if i wanted which is another plus. buy this keyboard if youre on the fence and see for yourself! great entry keyboard, and for the price, it cant be beat.

I really enjoyed this keyboard for several months, using it wired at my desktop pc and then taking it over to the couch with the bluetooth option when I use my TV as a computer monitor. Sadly, the Wired-Off-Bluetooth power switch didn’t stand up to this regular use and crapped out on me. It’s a sad little switch that can’t be replaced.
For a keyboard with really nice mechanical switches, it’s unfortunate they cheaped out with the power switch.

While I am not a gamer, I wanted to move up to a wireless mechanical keyboard. I moved from a DASkeyboard that was wired with two usb cables. While I do some times miss the ten key it is not bad and it looks cleaner on my desk. Rest of the keyboard is nice. Keys feel good and responsive. If there is one thing that I don’t like, it is the lack of a Keycron app for programming keys or changing up RGB. Not a deal breaker but I don’t like the hack-y feeling of the apps that I found.

cons:
1. font at key is small, when light is off, hard to identify it. Yes, you could buy some key as you need, but default key font is not big enough.
2. need wrist rest. lot other brand keyboard is sell with wrist rest.
3. charging/wire connector is hard to insert into slot. You need use force and push it hard. At first time, I just insert it, but it always lose connection with computer. After checking it, I finally find connector is not inserted to the end of slot.

Lo compré principalmente por los switches café, anteriormente tenia un teclado con switch azules y me parecia demasiado ruidoso, y la verdad estoy muy feliz tanto con el sonido como con la comodidad.
En cuanto a su funcionalidad y conectividad, lo utilizo tanto para una Macbook Pro como para una computadora de escritorio Windows y funciona sin problemas ya que te permite guardar la “conexión” hasta con 3 dispositivos diferentes y cambiar entre ellos con una combinación de teclas. El RGB se puede controlar desde el mismo teclado sin la necesidad de instalar ningún software y la batería me dura alrededor de una semana (tiempo de carga alrededor de 2~3h).

The keyboard stopped working in Wired mode after 1 month. It thinks it’s in Bluetooth mode and switches back and forth between Bluetooth and Wired mode even though the switch is on Wired mode. The RGB lights flicker every time I try to type. The whole keyboard is just useless now after just 1 month. I’ve heard great things about Keychron but after finally purchasing one for myself and experiencing this, I don’t recommend this keyboard to anyone.
