   I performed well in tac fps and aim trainers with this mouse. I enjoy the clicks alot. The side buttons are ok to use, which I didn’t really expect. It was hard to find a good grip on this mouse that didn’t result in me tilt-gripping it. My hands fit the mouse and I could use it well but I just didn’t like that I was tilt-gripping the mouse. This caused me and my large hands to switch to a viper v2 pro and I’m now happily married to it.

   Easily the best gaming mouse I’ve ever used, and I’ve used probably two dozen from every brand you can think of. The shape took some getting used to, but that’s the only negative I can think of. Highly recommend, 10/10. Edit 6/5/23: a couple months ago, the plastic on the mouse started to wear and become shiny, so I bought some grips online and they breathed new life into this mouse. I’ve now owned it for 16 months. Still my favorite mouse even after trying many others! It’s my endgame.

   This mouse gives you next level control and it’s surprisingly comfortable but it’s not for large or very small hands my hands are 20 by 10 cm and it’s almost the perfect fit but medium hands should be most comfortable holding it. It feels like writing with a pencil and you have so much control and confidence while playing. The build quality is great, the coating is quite comfortable and grippy and the battery life is next level. It feels like a raised more comfortable MZ1 and XM1. Well done Logitech !

   So this is an odd one for me. Have been curious about this mouse for a while as there really isn’t anything too similar in terms of shape on the market, so I had to see what it was like. For reference, my hands are 18x10cm and alternate between fingertip (gaming) and palm (general use) grip styles for the most part. Straight to the point: a few weeks after purchase and I STILL don’t know what the correct way to hold this mouse is, hahaha. It’s just such a strange shape being so low and having such prominent curves outward in the middle of the mouse. It’s like gripping an oversized lozenge gem, basically just a big diamond shape! In terms of quality, it’s superb! Very light clicks, solid button action, and a firm scroll wheel all make for great design choices. Performance was equally as impressive, as I never seemed to have any issues and a couple of motion reviews through MouseTester showed consistent latency and polling, no issues to speak of there! Not up to the performance of some of the higher end, more modern mice we’re seeing release Late ’23 and into ’24, but perfectly solid for 99% of users. Ultimately, I just don’t think I’m the intended target for this mouse having smaller hands and falling back on a palm grip style in casual use. It would probably be salvageable even with smaller hands if you were solely a fingertip/claw grip user, though. Again, this is no fault of the mouse itself just something to consider if you’re buying without having held one before. Personally, I gained a much greater appreciation for mice like my Vaxee Outset AX, Pulsar X2H, and Razer Viper Mini SE immediately after putting this one back into the collection. Would recommend it if the grip style suits you, however! I would just also advise trying to see one in person before you go all-in on the shape.

   BEST claw grip mouse shape, although the only thing I recommend is changing out the stock skates for “BT.L skates,” and I say only these because all the other skates you can find to buy are thicker than the stock skates, so the mouse won’t be completely flat, but slightly elevated some millimeters. Besides changing the stock skates and buying some grips, this is the perfect mouse.

   Terrific value when on sale under $100 A few things not mentioned about this Shroud G303 wireless mouse: USB-C – finally for Logitech! Although the diamond shape “at first” is challenging for anyone without a claw grip (aggressive or relaxed is ok) it allows the user to lightly hold the mouse and relax while doing daily tasks. MYTH busting: Smaller hands can’t use this. This can suite any hand size IF you claw grip. Claw grip pretty much required. Angular sides require very little effort to hold the mouse and lift for low DPI users. Some of the lowest click latency in the industry (feels responsive in daily tasks). Buttons are crisp and buttons / Clicks on my sample have NO pre or post travel. (better than Logitech G-Pro SuperLight) Scroll wheel does NOT have ribs / raised rubber – it is smooth and relaxing to rest middle finger on. Epic battery life – 140 hours +. 74/75 gram weight slightly heavier than most gaming mice but its a near 50/50 balance and comfortable Stock G303 mouse feet are a little scratchy and textured out of the box – need 10-12 hours break-in or swapping for something smoother. Firmware upgrade required out of the box for BOTH the USB wireless receiver and mouse – plug it in and launch G-Hub software – will prompt and do its thing without issue. All Shroud G303 settings can be saved to the mouse and software removed afterwards. Going to purchase a second soon – in case it becomes unavailable / discontinued White or lighter version coming?

    This mouse Is perfect for claw grip, especially for FPS competitive gaming. I so glad they made this one. Light weight, great sensor, battery life is insane. I play everyday and battery lasts for months. I tried decades of mice and this one is the best. Not seutable for palm and finger grip. Just bother yourself. Only for claw imo. Logi should keep working and make an upgraded version.

    The Shroud mouse is an amazing wireless mouse, the weight and how it is built feels reliable and durable, the clicks are satisfying, and the battery life is great, only need to charge it once pretty much month to month.

    but only one gripe is that it’s made specifically for shrouds hand. I have a claw grip so I like the ergonomic feel (like the G Pro Superlight) but with its flat top profile I had to flatten my hand on top of the mouse and my fingers feel like they’re going to overlap the mouse buttons. My hand is pretty long so it feels like the mouse doesn’t fit properly (of course it’s made for a specific pros hand in mind)

    But with that said, it’s a fantastic mouse, before buying I suggest looking at other peoples reviews and grips to make sure you’ll want to get this mouse, Unfortunately it would’ve been fantastic for me maybe if I adapted to it but my preference is different.

    After marinating on this mouse for several months, using it off and on between my current-use mouse (Glorious Model D), comparing my performance between mice for aim in FPS training, and in direct comparison to the g303 wireless’s venerable predecessor, the g303 wireless “Shroud Edition” has too many subtle changes in shape that no longer make the mouse a good mouse for larger hands. With my hands being ~21cm (thanks dad), finding properly ergonomic mice is a particular struggle that finds me taking good advantage of companies’ return policies. I’ve been off and on between 10+ different mice to find which ones work best for me, a struggle originating from my first (wired) g303 beginning to ghost click after several years of continuous use. Between the original g303’s discontinuation and the prices of new old stock g303’s skyrocketing from the persistent demand for the mouse, upon finding out that there was a new version of the g303 that was wireless, had a better sensor, and (yay for marketing) was slightly redesigned in partnership with Shroud, I had no doubt that any changes to the mouse would be slight, positive changes and that the $100+ dollars I’d throw at it would be well worth it. Sadly, those slight changes made the shape even more divisive it seems, and made the mouse nigh impossible for larger hands to find any comfort in claw gripping with them. Pros: Sensor is great, mouse is light, I’ve had no issues with any software with the mouse in my experience, and battery life is much better than I anticipated. This mouse is by no means a bad mouse as far as its hardware goes, and if this mouse fits your hand shape you should find minimal problems with it. Cons: Mouse shape, mouse shape, mouse shape, and mouse feet. Being able to directly compare the new wireless g303 with its predecessor helps a lot to determine which specific changes really makes this mouse a poor mouse for my hands. The most noticeable change with the most negative impact to me is the sharper angle on the sides of the mouse on which your thumb/ring+pinky fingers rest. Especially with large hands and with the shape of this mouse being almost specifically designed for fingertip/claw grips, this sharper angle forces me to grip with more force to try to stabilize the mouse, which in turn because of its sharper angle forces the mouse upwards vertically in my hand, which forces me to press down with my palm around the base of my fingers, which modifies my claw grip into a fingertip grip (which is not the style of grip I prefer), with the added bonus of a gradually cramping hand from the persistent vice grip I have to continually hold on the mouse to keep it from tilting on its sides or moving upward in my hand. A fact which is compounded by the fact there are no longer mouse feet on the left and right corners of the g303 wireless, which means in addition to my struggle to hold a solid-feeling grip on the mouse, now I have to contend with the smoother side edges and lack of mouse feet on said edges causing the mouse to keel to either side in my hand with fast movement and flicking, which from the nature of the g303 wireless’s sensitive sensor (not a knock on the sensor itself) means I lose tracking in very crucial moments of fast aiming. The last two photos I uploaded as a part of my review show this subtle yet drastic change well, taking note to see how my thumb naturally rests on the side of the mice. The g303 wireless forces my thumb to sink downward with the sharper angle, which forces me to apply more grip, which modifies my grip towards the tips of my thumb and fingers, whereas on the original g303 I have more surface area and a less aggressive angle that allows my thumb to rest more naturally and with a less strenuous grip on the sides of the mouse. TL;DR: Apologies for the long review but I wanted to be thorough, I’m oddly passionate about this mouse since the original g303 is one of my favorite mice shapes. This mouse is not a bad mouse between its hardware and software, but regarding its shape it’s unusable for me and my larger hands. Mice, regarding shape and ergonomics, are extremely important factors, but is also one that is highly subjective which is why so many reviews are mixed about this mouse. Some may find the shape great for their hands, which makes the mouse great to them, because in all aspects except shape this is an objectively good mouse. Large hands I feel should stay away from this mouse, and for medium to small hands I cannot make a statement about how the mouse would work for you. I would highly recommend as well, before you dump >$100 on a computer mouse with a contentious shape, seeing if you have any options to “try out” the mouse before you purchase it as this shape is definitely not for everyone, or to look into alternatives that may have more conventional shapes as well. Not a 1 star mouse by any means because of its truly stellar hardware, but to me, spending $120 on a mouse that I cannot use well due to its shape when it’s just a rework from the former version I adored, I personally cannot give it more than 3 stars.

    Hi! my hand size is 16,5 cm X 8 cm, I use a 1 3 1 grip and I have tried the following list of mouse: Orochi v2 G203 lightsync Viper mini G403 Hero G502 Hero In my opinion this g303 SE is the best for my grip, its confortable and light, the sliders feels smooth and fast, better than my old g203 lightsync, amazing battery life.     I mained the G302 (2014) then G303 (2015), have a 50+ mice collection, and used Logitech gaming mice for more than 10 years. I was very happy when they finally announced a wireless version of the G303 (they do listen, sometimes) but like many have already stated, this is not an exact copy of the G303. The “G303 Wireless” has been my daily driver for more than 2 months now. I really enjoy the shape, the freedom of wireless, very light weight, and long battery life (no more RGB—I don’t mind). Having used the G303 and G Pro Wireless (GPW) for more than six years total, this was slightly more comfortable and provided support for my 19.5 x 9.5cm hand because of its wider dimensions compared to the G302/G303 (I use a hybrid claw/palm grip). Keep in mind, this is not a palm grip mouse where you can fully rest your palm, which is why others say it tilts backwards, but it provides that slight support so your hands are not in a tense position all the time. The shape is not for everyone but I can be more precise with my movements/shots with the diamond shape of the mouse compared with the GPW. To conclude, I am truly enjoying this mouse and Logitech did a great job packing all of the features many users want in a serious gaming mouse. I think the shape is a bit “safer” now as well so it can cater to more grip styles. Thanks again Logitech for making a wireless version of this legend.

    Background: My daily driver was the Mx Master 3 that was too bulky/heavy for gaming so I went to the G Pro and that worked well but the superlight I liked even more. I went through two superlights (I’m a very heavy computer user between work/play. I decided to give this mouse a try. Cons: – The first left button placement is not ideal as it’s too far up for my hands – I wouldn’t be opposed to having a button or two on the right side – Could be slightly lighter. Pros: – You can actually up your DPI with the way you hold the mouse you have slightly more control because of the senor placement. – Battery life is amazing for a “pro grade” gaming mouse. – Can’t believe I have to say this but I do uses USB-C connector. – Buttons feel more responsive & tactile than superlight. – Build quality overall superior to superlight. Bonus: I suggest pairing this mouse (or any for that matter) with an ARTISAN mouse pad!
