   This mouse isn’t just for gaming. This mouse has changed my life. joking.. But very useful! I don’t do any gaming but I do a lot of work on my computer. I use the infinite scroll wheel all the time. I also made on of the side buttons action to do “windows button + tab”. Helped me navigate from page to page on my computer quickly and effortlessly. Also very high build quality. The picture shows my mouse now which is about 1 year old. With this purchase you’re not only buying a mouse. You’re buying time. The few seconds this mouse saves you add up over the years. Increases productivity for sure! Also, even thought I don’t use it for gaming im sure it does very well for that purpose as that’s what it’s designed to do.

   Out of all the mice I have used in my life this is the best I have used. I have been a gamer since the early 2000’s so I have used a bunch of different brands and types of mice. This one fits my hand very well. My hand is 6.5in from tip of middle finger to base of palm and it fits on the whole surface of the mouse. My mouse style is Palming. I also like a heavy mouse and this is one of the heaviest mice you can get. The customizing software is very good as well. The buttons, mouse pad surface, and DPI is all customize-able. Mine is the older one without RGB logo but if the RGB logo ones are the same quality as this one they are well worth the money! I have used this one since April 2015 and there are no issues with it at all. Even the plastic slick pads are still in place!

   8 months ago i bought theLogitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse with Fully Customizable Surface, Weight and Balance Tuning (910-004074) and i LOVE it so it pains me when i have to give it one star. everything on it is wonderful from the tracking to the DPI and the buttons even the mouse is very comfortable to hold but when you spend 60$ on a mouse you expect it to hold together for longer then 8 months. about a week ago i noticed the rubber was coming lose which inst such a big deal except for the fact it gets in the way of using the mouse. it now catches on my desk and pokes my hand. which in turn makes it very uncomfortable (see attached picture. keep in mind the rubber now slides when your holding the mouse.). so verdict is this mouse if it was able to hold together for longer then 8 months it would be 5 stars and worth the 60$ i spent. but seeing as it didn’t hold together and will only continue to deteriorate from here on out i would not recommend spending more then 15$ on this mouse as i will now have to look in to getting a mouse that will actually last.

   For starters I have small hands.. My grip I guess is a claw grip but my hand sits back off of the back of the mouse (like my whole hand is back). I have had sever different mice and this one is probably the closest I have come to being able to use the whole layout. I had the rat 7 Albino.. Didnt like the fact that it stained up (my hand were not that dirty) and it ended up being to wide and my pinky hurt but the button layout was good. I could hit all buttons comfortably. Corsair M65… It was comfortable (maybe a bit big) but the coating on the sides wears off and I was unable to hit the sniper button. I put the MX revo in the pics just as a size comparison. It is nice but wont use wireless for gaming. Now for the G502. I need a mouse that I can use for games and for work. This mouse seems to be thinner than the bunch and so far feels good on the hands. The mouse wheel is a bit to clicky for my liking, especially for web browsing. I would switch to free scroll but then that goes to quickly without any real control.The sniper button on this one is also to far forward for me. It just must be my grip. I can hit all of the other buttons with ease though. *Pros* Nice weight ( i like a heavy mouse) good tracking confortable good button layout easy to use software 5 dpi settings per profile braded cable seems nice ( softer than others, this might end up being a con later if it frays) Nice rubber grip on the sides *cons* wheel is to clickly (stiff but it might break in) wide scroll on the mouse wheel wont work in games ( I even set them as numbers for switching weapons and it wont work) Only one color ( not really a con but most mice in this price range have adjustable color leds) Dirt trapped around the skid pads on the bottom ( only been a day and already stuff stuck around them, M65 is still clean on the bottom) Overall I am happy. I almost got the roccat tyon or one of the other mice they sell due to ratings saying good for smaller hands. I wear a mens medium golf glove and this fits my hands well. If i was to actually move my hand forward to make my palm touch I could hit the sniper button easily but then I feel like my fingers are falling of the front of the mouse. This is a pretty solid mouse. I dont think it looks bad and the software is easy to use (unlike anything corsair writes, Mouse keyboard or even their h100i water block ). I left logitech a while ago to give corsair a try and now it seems like im on my way back. This mouse will be my go to for now. If that changes I will update. Im also dumping my k70 Keyboard for a DAS professional blue key. Logitech makes products that last and I have never had a problem with them. I have several univeral remotes (harmony one and up) and the old school G15 with flip display. All still work. Hope the same happens here.

    I have been using this mouse since August 2015 for personal use and school use, and it has proven to be a real asset for gaming and designing in software programs such as Sketchup Pro and Adobe Illustrator. However, I found that the material that Logitech used for the protective braiding around the mouse cable feels very stiff and cheap, which has caused the cable to twist and the braiding to fray in multiple locations. Taking into consideration that this issue came about barely a month after purchasing the G502, I felt compelled to add an extra layer of electrical tape around the cable in an attempt to prevent any future fraying of either the cable or its protective braiding. However, that has proven to have only delayed the inevitable as the electrical tape has peeled off in multiple locations (one of which is shown in the picture below) due to the constant bending and twisting of the cable, causing these portions of the braiding to fray even more! To top this all off, I’ve been trying to get a hold of Logitech’s Customer Support for almost a week now, with the only response from them being an automated email that was of absolutely no help to me. Other than that, this is a great mouse that has amazing functionality; however, I also expect the same level of quality out of the materials that were used to make the product, and a customer support service that isn’t almost non-existent since it costs almost $100.00..

Button cannot be customised to open programs. +M60 strength: . The look, the aluminium body. . App is more usable IMO. . Feel fuller in the hand. -M60 Weakness: .     I thought about geting the upgraded version of this, but with less reviews, I didn’t want to risk it. This mouse is awesome! The dedicated sniper button is sweet! Wish that was on console. Got a mouse mat and am gonna set the sensitivity lower so I can glide to the end of the mat for 180 turns. RGB is a plus too, matches my PC. Might end up buting the Air58 next. The scroll wheel clicks are much better, they are more positive, but I wish the scroll wheel had the traction of the G500/G500s. The button placements are just wrong. The DPI +/- buttons are too big (what were they thinking?). These buttons get hit by accident all the time, I had to disable them. The thumb top buttons are too back, and the bottom thumb button is too far back as well, making accidental presses common. These side buttons are also too big for what I believe are my average sized hands and thumb. I know these remarks are subjective to my hand size, but I’ve been using the MX510, MX518, and recently the G500 and 500s, the later of which had perfect or close to perfect button placements. Logitech should make a mouse in the G500s form factor. I’ve been using the G502 for about a month, and I’m having a hard time adapting to it. I feel clumsy in fps with my claw grip and low DPI style. I may go back to the G500s.

When you typically play games online you need to be able to move your mouse around freely, this mouse does not allow you to do that. The cable gets stiff after a few months of use and it will actually drag and mess up your gaming. This product deserves the low 1 star that I am giving it because Logitech has recently started outputting garbage products. DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT. Now, off to spending the next 5-6 hours attempting to remove the braided cable, fortunately each and every piece of the now-fray braided cable comes off in tiny little black strings, looks like this one is going in the dumpster.

Cons: -Rough surface texture: For some reason this mouse has a rough “tread” on the bottom surface rather than a smooth surface like other mouses I’ve bought. This makes moving the mouse somewhat noisy on my soft mouse pad like it is “catching” the fibers. I also feel like it slows down my hand motion a little bit.     I am new to gaming mice so I don’t have much to compare this to in terms of the competition, but what I can do is describe my experience with the mouse and its software. Firstly, the mouse seems to be very well made. I like the braided nylon cord covering. It snags less than other cords. The adjustable weight is nice, but for an occasional gamer like myself I think that the weight of the mouse is fine without them. I added all the weight and then brought the weight down gradually just to get a feel for what it was like and I ended up leaving in two of them. The extra buttons are a wonderful feature. I play Battlefield 4 from time to time and I use them to reload, melee, grenade and crouch. The sniper button is nice, but I never got the hang of it. Its tough to get a feel for it because I get so use to a certain sensitivity and then to have it suddenly changed, to me, is a little off putting. I will say this though. I have played some games where the screen was glitchy due to using a low resolution mouse and this one is super smooth and very adjustable. The software is usable, but a bit clunky. It gives you the ability to set up different profiles (1-4) that can be changed through the button on the center of the mouse, but it would be nice if the software sensed what you were doing and changed it itself. You can run macros with the buttons or assign a single key stroke or even a combination of keystrokes such as ctrl+c for copying and pasting. The built in lighting is a very nice and also user adjustable for different effects, but cannot change the colors. There is also a scroll-wheel lock-unlock that allows the scroll-wheel to click like mouse mice do when scrolling or to spin freely that would allow you to spin the mouse once with your finger and scroll down many lines at once.     It has the optimum amount of buttons in the thumb and index finger region. Cool features with the scroll wheel (it unlocks), and I guess gamers like the weights you can put on it? But I had to return it because the scroll wheel was too loose. So every time I middle-clicked, it would also activate the functions I’d assigned to pushing the wheel left or right.     First off I’d like to say I love Logitech mouses. I love the free spin mode and how you can set up different modes. Oh yeah forgot to mention the weights you can adjust. Why this mouse got a 3 out of 5? Don’t let the stars fool you, this mouse is great! I’ve been using the G500 for years now, but after 1.5 years they would start to bug out. Like they would double click randomly. So each year I would buy a new G500. After going through 3 G500’s, which all started to have a double click bug problem, I looked for a new mouse. Razer Deathadder was too big for me, since i used a claw grip not a palm grip. And i tried using Mionix NAOS, but it felt too cheap and light. So I ended up coming back to Logitech (which I do love). This mouse is great, an upgrade from the G500. It has a good weight, I used all the extra weight. The problem is the feet of the mouse. It gets too dirty after using it for a week or so. I usually wipe down my hard mouse pad after a week or 2, but the feet accumulate too much dust. It’s also too hard to remove from the feet to make it look like new. Maybe it’s because I don’t clean my mouse pad enough probably. That’s the only reason I give this mouse a 3. I do recommend this mouse or the G500.
