   2021 Update: I’m still using this mouse. I just bought another one even though the one I have is working fine. I’ll just keep that in storage. At least if Logitech stops making this mouse, I’ll have a couple in reserve. I love it that much. — I like this mouse a lot. For years I played WoW with a standard mouse but then made the jump to this beast because I had an extra few bucks. I think it was worth it. It is comfortable in my hand. It doesn’t seem overly large or small, just perfect. All the buttons are smartly placed. The 12 buttons on the side were engineered in such a way that you can easily discern one from the other (although there have been times in arenas where I’ve been pummeled on and I frantically mashed the wrong buttons, but I think that had more to do with the stupid warrior beating on me than a fault in the design itself). I don’t really use the software that comes with the device for button mapping, or anything really, so I’m prolly not using it to its full potential, but that’s ok. I simply use WoW’s interface to map a certain spell to a particular button. Nothing to fancy. It works for me. But I don’t switch from multiple games either. I mainly play WoW. Your miles may vary although I think there are some videos you can check out if you’re having problems with the setup. I found a few useful ones. In terms of construction, the mouse itself has a great balance to it. It feels substantial in my palm as I move it which I like. It’s accurate enough for WoW though I’m fairly confident it could handle FPS games with aplomb. The cord is long and sort of braided with this non-plasticky material which is nice. The cord is flexible, not rigid. The lighted side buttons are not distracting during night game play. One of the features I like is that if you’re the type to play several different types of games, you can switch modes within the software so that the mouse remembers your keybinds. For example, if I play WoW, I have it set up so that the side numbers are synonymous with a numeric keypad. But, if for example, you wanted to switch that for an FPS game, you could. The different modes you are in are signified by different colors which you can set using the software. Again, since I almost exclusively play WoW, I don’t really use this feature too much. One minor complaint is that when I turn on my computer the default gameplay mode is not WoW, so sometimes I’ll be in an arena mashing buttons and nothing happens until I’m like Oh Yeah, and hit the button for WoW mode (it makes more sense once you actually use the mouse). I’m sure there is some sort of setting to make my WoW settings the default on startup but I don’t have the time, nor inclination, to try and figure it out. In short, this is a solid gaming mouse for MMOs such as WoW. If you don’t think you need all those buttons, you probably don’t. If you’ve played WoW for years and can beat the Lich King with your eyes closed, then you prolly don’t need this. If you can already melt everyone’s face in bgs with your spriest as you dance on their corpse, you prolly don’t need this mouse. However, if you want to have more buttons so your fingers don’t dislocate as you reach mightily for the dreaded + button (the only button you had left to map) to cast a spell whilst your raid members are yelling at you to “GET OUT OF THE FIRE”, then maybe this mouse will make your life easier. I mean, it’s not a miracle worker. If you were a 1300 rating WoW player before, this mouse isn’t going to magically get you a 2200+ rating w/ the Arena Master title in two days.

   a Great quality mouse, the buttons all work beautifully and scroll is satisfying. Feels light to push around and still hefty upon pickup. Tons of buttons to assign actions to makes this mouse my go-to gaming mouse, and the second right click makes it comfortable to rest a hand on for long periods. Its Very durable, highly recommend. (confidently speaking on durability as my first G600 went through absolute hell for 8 years before it started to break down on me.. I’m talking dogs pulling the cord and it smashing onto concrete floor constantly for years , and went through a VERY rough move across the entire country and then some, unprotected in a box with a ton of other stuff on top of it *not my doing – our packers weren’t great* , chocolate milk was spilled into at one point, spilled water plenty of times onto it, honey even got into it while i was babysitting once, and this mouse held up well beyond all that happening. And even then the only problem is the scroll wheel doesn’t scroll upward anymore so I bought this new one.) Pictured: blue is old, black is recently bought ***My one and only complaint has nothing to do with the mouse itself, but the delivery drivers actions. When the delivery driver arrived he tossed the box very rough and carelessly onto my porch. I heard the box slam on the ground as I went to go check my door. This mouse obviously still works beautifully, as the durability level is insane, but had it been anything else it very much would have broken on arrival. But obviously that isn’t a sellers issue so I’m not reducing starts for the product itself. (:

   go-keyboard.com and logitech both need to update this listing. The mouse has a rubber cable, which is likely a cost cutting measure to meet the low price. The logitech packaging has a 2021 copyright, so clearly. This package is new, but still has the old, incorrect design and description on it. This mouse costs half of what it used to cost. I’ve used the razer naga 2014, the corsair scimitar, and recently, this mouse. This mouse feels similar to the Naga, the chasis deisgn has not been updated at all. If want a new mouse with an old design. You just might like this mouse. The biggest downside, in my opinion, is the cable. Its rubber, and its short. Much shorter than I’m used to with gaming mice. The only other difference is the old logitech logo has been replaced by the new logitech G logo. The packaging has not been updated at all. And it was my surprise, that the mouse wasn’t actually a braided cable. The box and the papers inside both say its a braided cable. Logitech, either update your packaging to accurately describe the mouse, or don’t change the mouse at all! And go-keyboard.com, please update your pictures to reflect the new version. The braided cable is replaced with a rubber one!

   I bought this mouse to replace my Razer Naga that finally died after three years of almost daily use. I do a lot of CAD and spreadsheets for my job and after using an MMO mouse for both, not having one was like working with a hand tied behind my back. I decided on the G600 and G13 gamepad because both were half the price of the Razer equivalent. Here are my thoughts: Build quality and functionality: The mouse seems solid so far. The buttons don’t feel cheap and it’s quality seems comparable to the Razer Naga even though it’s less expensive. I have no complaints regarding mouse functionality, but I’m not a high end gamer so DPI, lag times etc don’t matter to me. The buttons on the side are all easily accessible and easy to click. The Naga had a few buttons on the top middle of the pad that I always had trouble hitting due to their small size and curve of the keypad. The G600 also has a large mouse click plate that you hit with your pinky to give you a second set of commands you can use on the keypad on the fly. I had done something similiar with the Naga by mapping a macro to the buttons under the mouse wheel but this is WAY more comfortable. The G600 is definitely better in this regard. Ergonomics and aesthetics: The G600 is bigger in overall size as well as buttons. As I said above, I like the fact that the buttons are bigger vs the Naga as I find everything easy to click now. However I do think the G600 is a bit bulky. . I can understand why some other reviewers with small hands had trouble using the G600. If I just needed a mouse without all the extra buttons, the Naga would be more comfortable to use. Aesthetically I don’t think either look that great, honestly. I don’t have a preference. Software: The key mapping software is very important to me because I have so many macros. The G600s program has many more options available and it’s easier map and edit commands.. The Razer software is simpler to figure out but has a lot of it’s functions buried and hard to find. Again, I don’t use this for gaming so I can’t speak to the heat map functionality or auto switching between games. Overall: I like the G600 better than the Razer Naga but I wish it fit a little more comfortably in my hand. I am a little worried about the reviews saying that buttons stopped working after less than a year. If they do I’ll come back and give the mouse a one star.

   I initially bought one of these for work. I worked in Coax and Fiber Design for Comcast, so I wanted to have plenty of opportunity for key bindings for the tedious work… The G-shift function is amazing and allows for 24+ different functions on this single mouse. I fell in love with it so fast and used it so effortlessly, that it became hard to use the one I own at home. Not to mention, it was more comfortable to use and cheaper than my Corsair Scimitar at home. Not long after my purchase of the G600 for work, the middle mouse button on my Corsair Scimitar broke. So I bought another G600 for my home computer and it’s incredible. But not just for AutoCAD design, for gaming too! I guess my first mouse was an old model, because the newer one (pics) has the “G” logo instead of the old Logitech logo from the rebrand. Either way, they are the same mouse, and I can’t recommend it enough. It is light weight, but not too light. Perfect for FPS and RPGs. I’ll probably keep buying these and use this style mouse forever.

   The TL:DR is at the bottom. I attached several images, including the Logitech G600, the Logitech G502, and the Anker Vertical Mouse. I’ll focus on the G600 of course, and why it’s better and worse than other similar mice. The G600 itself is a fantastic mouse, as are most of Logitech’s mice. You can feel the build quality in your hand and know it could be a daily driver for years. I used my G502 almost 10 hours a day for work and play for the past 5 years, and it’s showing no signs of stopping. I have a STRONG feeling this mouse will be the same way. I included a picture of the Anker mouse and how I grip it, because ergonomics are extremely important for long term use. The G600 actually has pretty decent ergonomics to it. It really fills out your hand, even if you have larger hands like mine. In addition to being wider than most mice, it also is slightly tilted, to give your wrist a more relaxed feel. In terms of the button functionality, they are far better than you can expect from the pictures! (Especially if you are coming over after using a Razer MMO mouse for the 6 months it lasted). The buttons are a bit bigger than most MMO mice, so they’re very easy to tell apart. I haven’t misclicked once, whether I’m using it for game development in my 3D CAD programs or for playing actual video games, mmos, mobas, and RTS games included. The software for programming the mouse is incredibly easy to navigate, and if you have more than one Logitech device, it all seamlessly connects together (including lighting, if you toggle it!). There are 12 buttons on the side, and a shift key where your ring finger rests. You also have three modes that you can toggle between using the buttons on the top. That gives you a whopping SEVENTY-TWO keybindings and macros possible. TL:DR PROS – Best build quality of any brand – Buttons are nice and big – Slightly more tilted than most gaming mice – 72 available keybindings/macros per software CONS – Not as tilted as hardcore ergonomic mice

   I have fairly large hands, so it’s hard to find a comfortable mouse, I can normally get along fine with most standard size mice, (They’re not comfortable, but usable) But I have no idea what Logetech was thinking with this one! It’s like they took their standard mouse design and chopped off 15% off of the rear, and sliced the front of the mouse buttons. There’s also a weird curve on the lower back of the mouse, This may just be for ‘aesthetics’ but as the mouses base is not flat, resting your hand even slightly too far back will cause it to tilt upwards, messing up the readings from the laser. While I’m glad it has twelve buttons on the side, they’re positioned pretty far down on the already short mouse, making the lower (7-12) ones fairly uncomfortable to hit. Some of their other models have a little wing on the right where you can rest your thumb, this does not, so you’re really limited in how you can use this mouse. Also, the 3rd mouse click button is an interesting idea, but it really means you have nowhere to rest your finger on this mouse, other than on buttons, and your pinky finger just has to hang. —- Overall, this mouse is super cramped, for people with midsized hands, this may be a little uncomfortable, but for me, it’s physically painful to use.

    So I love the G600 so much I bought multiple for my main setup, my HTPC and my laptop. I gave my laptop one away to a friend of mine and bought another one, but the one I bought is a “newer” version. Nothing functional changed; exact same mouse, even works with the older Logitech Gaming Software that I will take over the garbage Logitech G Hub. The only changes are cosmetic, as you can see in the picture. The old logo is replaced with the modern gaming logo, and the cable is no longer braided. Just boring rubber. The texture on the new one feels a little more smooth than when my original mouse felt, but not sure how this will go in the long run. I feel this may be a downgrade for some who are rough with their mouse as braided cables are stronger than normal ones, but it is otherwise functionally the same.

    I’ve been using this mouse for the past several years for World of Warcraft and it’s fantastic! 1-12 on the side, L/R and an extra G-shift on the ring finger serves as my keyboard shift button and my middle is my “spacebar” or “jump” function. It’s really easy to use. I just keybind 1-12 on the side buttons and use ctrl (on keyboard) and shift (ring finger on mouse) as my modifiers. 1-12 are very easy to reach with my thumb and I don’t have any problems moving around without accidentally hitting a button. Size wise, it’s a bit bigger than the Razor MMO mouse (same kind of button config w/out the extra G-shift) but it fits my smaller hand very nicely. If, like me, you’re not great with using the keyboard to navigate, this is definitely a very good mouse. Not only is the G-600 excellent for World of Warcraft, it’s also incredibly tough. You can see in the pic that it’s been banged up a bit. lol Of course, it depends on how heavily you use it but it will last you a good, long time. Mine lasted for 3 years of extreme use before I finally wore it out. In addition to every day use, it’s seen me through countless Mythic+ dungeons and progression raiding from Legion until now (Dragonflight). I’ll be screwed if they stop making this mouse (mainly because of comfort and that g-shift key) so I keep a spare just in case my cat decides to chew through the cable or something.

    This mouse is probably my favorite mouse I’ve ever owned, and I’ve actually gone through two of these–now placing an order for my third mouse. Paired with Logitech Gaming Software (version 9.02), I’ve programmed this mouse to do various things over the years, such as binding buttons onto the mouse so that I don’t have to reach all the way over to the other side of my keyboard to activate auxiliary functions in a game. I tried switching to Logitech G-Hub when I first got my current computer, but quickly found issues with that software. I can’t remember exactly what those issues were, but I promptly switched back to the Logitech Gaming Software since that software seemed to work fine. The issue I seem to be having is that the left mouse button seems to, after a just over a year of use, start to trigger multiple times on a single press. I don’t exactly have any record of when I got my first G600, so it’s hard to say how long my first one lasted. I wish the mouse would last longer without this issue, although I suspect if I took off the pads, and opened the device, it would probably just come down to a dirty switch. Not really sure how dirt would get in there, but there are videos online of people opening up a G600 to clean the button. That said, my new mouse arrived today, and it seems that it’s a different, possibly a newer revision. The cable is different, the top surface seems really smooth, the icon has been changed, and the bottom now says G600 in a large font. Maybe this variant will last longer, but only time will tell. It’s been just about five months now, and my primary mouse button is starting to trigger multiple times. This was a brand new mouse. I still have my old one, so I might pull the pads off and open it up and see if I can’t restore that one to working order.

    I’ve bought two these already, one mid 2020 and another in late 2022. The 2020 one was causing issues with the left click double clicking and was inconsistent which led to buying the newer one. Recently I found out you can open the mouse quite easily and also open the “clicker” portion (see attached img). That little copper piece is the “clicky” part. It’s held up in such a way that it has a little bit of tension. After opening it and cleaning the copper piece I put everything back together and it started working again. Cleaning it seems to have fixed it so I’m currently using the old mouse and have the new one as a spare just in case. Dropping one star since it required opening up the mouse (likely voids any warranty) to fix this type of issue and it’s not something I’d expect people to know about or want to do.

    This is a great gaming mouse. The only downside is that sometimes, for no reason at all, it will mess up all the key bindings – not only will half of the mouse buttons stop working, but your keyboard will be all messed up too. After a TON of frustration and digging through Reddit, I found the culprit – the G-shift button (the third “mouse” button) is VERY buggy. Using the Logitech software to re-bind it to anything else (such as CTRL) fixes the issue.

    Great mouse for MMOs and in-general use. The Logitech software is kinda funky to get it to detect your game, but you can assign absolutely anything to the buttons. There are a total of 19 buttons on your mouse, with the G-Shift ring-finger click, you now have 38 different binds. It’s also a little different to get used to. I’ve used slimmer mice my whole life where I can pick-up and shift the mouse around with my ring finger and pinky, but the G600 has a ring-finger click (G-Shift) so you can only really hold it up with your pinky finger and it work your pinky out a little. Now concerning the weight! After a few weeks of using the mouse, I noticed that it’s actually pretty heavy compared to something like my G703. I figured, yeah there’s a lot of buttons and all that that’s why. No, that’s not why it’s heavy. There are literally two metal plates in the mouse. If you peel off the top and bottom pads and unscrew the screws, you can unscrew the plates and take them out making the mouse tons lighter. Be careful there’s a ribbon connecting the top half to the bottom half of the mouse. Take the mouse apart slowly. You’ll see the plates on the top half of the mouse. So crazy. Check the picture to see how big these plates really are. The mouse is so much lighter.

    I have just used it for only a few hours and I am already loving it. I’ve also used the Razer Naga Epic Chroma for 6 months and this Logitech G600 is a welcome change. I bought this as a mouse for my other PC. A fantastic mouse which gives users unparalleled control. It fits comfortably in the hand and the contours are nice however, the shape of the mouse favors people with a palm grip more. If you’re more into the claw fingertip grip or claw grip which I am, you may find that you’ll need some time to get used to the mouse but it is not very severe so you should be accustomed quite quickly. Buttons are easy to press and give an appropriate tactile response. The thumb buttons also have tactile indents on the G13 and G16 keys which help you to easily identify by feel which keys you will press. There is also something known as a G-shift button activated by your ring finger which effectively doubles the number of functions. I personally found this to be a killer feature. Its RGB lighting is bright and vibrant and can be seen well even in well lit areas however, in my particular unit, when the RGB is set to white, the G13 button seems to have a slightly different shade of white. It doesn’t bother me so I won’t take away a star for it. Also, you can set the RGB lighting be on static, a pulse or a cycle. You can also control the speed at which the lights pulse or cycle. The mouse also includes on-board memory which you can store your profiles on board without having to install any software. The cable is also braided for a nice and durable texture. The Logitech Gaming Software is relatively easy to use and is quite slick. When choosing a color for the RGB the software immediately applies it without you needing to do anything. Very handy when you want to quickly see your changes. Assigning macros is very easy, but compared to Razer’s Synapse, it is a little bit more clunky. However, the best part of it all is that you do not need to create an account to customize your mouse unlike Razer which you need to. This was a massive plus for me. I do also own a Razer Naga Epic Chroma and compared to it, I would say the two are very similar in performance. The Naga does have better RGB lighting as its scroll wheel is lit while on the G600, it is not. Furthermore, the non-wireless version of the Naga also has it’s Razer emblem illuminated. On the G600, only the grid of buttons for the thumb is lit. Also, the Naga’s shape is more forgiving to people who use a claw/fingertip. The G600 is also more affordable than the Razer equivalent. Comparing Razer’s and Logitech’s offerings, I would say the Logitech wins. Razer is not bad either, but with the Logitech, you do get more functionality over form. I mainly use this for productivity and I have set the buttons to act as shortcuts like Alt-Tab, Task Switcher etc and the G600 is a joy to use. If you’re looking for a mice for absolute control and functionality, look no further than the G600. It also has that killer G-shift button which is unique to the G600. There is also Corsair’s Scimitar RGB offering to consider. While that one has truly impressive RGB, you do lose a little functionality as that one does not have a tilting scroll-wheel and also doesn’t offer a G-shift equivalent.

    I got this for Final Fantasy XIV. The problems started as soon as I plugged it into my computer. Because this is an older mouse, it DOES NOT work with the newer G Hub software (apparently this has been a problem for years but Logitech refuses to fix it). Every time I tried to launch G Hub with the mouse plugged in, it would crash my computer. After some googling, I found that you’re *supposed* to use the older Logitech Gaming Software (which Logitech does still provide for download). So I uninstalled G Hub, installed LGS, and it picked up the new mouse no problem. The software has built in profiles for several games including Final Fantasy XIV, Far Cry 5, Terraria and others, as well as standard tweaks for adjusting the lighting and DPI. The DPI by default is an INCREDIBLY slow 400dpi and despite “on the fly DPI switching” being advertised, you can only change it through software. The old software mind you, not the new software Logitech tells you to use on their own website. So anyway, I got everything up and running and things were fine for a couple weeks. Then the mouse started acting up. You know how on websites, if you click the middle mouse wheel you’re able to free scroll? That stopped working. Right click also started acting strange in certain programs. For example, in MusicBee (a program akin to old iTunes), if you right click a song it brings up a menu to edit songs, add to playlists, etc. The right click stopped doing that and would instead play the song, or restart it if the song was already playing. The only way to fix these problems is to close out LGS, which puts my mouse back in its default state, slow DPI and everything. But the best was when it caused a DirectX crash in Final Fantasy XIV. I’d been having strange audio glitches for a while (I’d get on a mount and the music wouldn’t play immediately, leading to a couple seconds of dead silence). When I got the DirectX crash, I googled the error code and a lot of people were saying it was from Windows enhanced audio issues. So I booted the game up, and there was no sound on the title screen. I opened up the Windows sound settings and for some reason, the default audio device had been changed from the speakers TO THE MOUSE. So yeah, avoid this mouse at all costs. If you want a good Logitech mouse, the G502 is great, but it’s not meant for MMOs so you’ll need to look elsewhere. Also the cable isn’t braided, which just feels extra cheap.

    This mouse is amazing, but you have to keep in mind its not for everyone. First off there is a third button on the right side, which if you aren’t used to can lead to misclicks. If you are someone coming from a more “standard” mouse background the grip needed to hold this will need some time adjusting to. However, the mouse is fantastic. highly customizable keybind options with 3 profiles (you’ll need to download an app ofcourse) gives you good flexibility for different games. Although it is marketed as MMO, I’ve used it for FPS and Space Sim as well without any problems.
    Durability – the previous one I had lasted about 5 years with nearly daily use, I have no complaints. Now using this one for a while as well without issues.
    As a bonus, if you are someone using 3D software like “Maya” it is handy to have keybinds you can use thanks to the 12 buttons on the side of this mouse to speed up your work flow.

    Pleasant in the hand even when sweaty, great build quality and good freedom of customization. Can’t recommend enough.

    The mouse is as advertised but, i am coming from a razer naga that broke after 8 years. Comparing this to a naga its not as well designed. The button placement feels awkward and i find myself pressing the wrong buttons due to a few things. one being there are 2 raised tabs you can feel on the buttons on the G13 and G16 buttons which are the 2 middle buttons and due to the layout of the buttons its not that easy to tell which key your on they are slightly angled opposite from each other but not enough to instantly grab the mouse and without looking/practice know where your buttons are compared to the Naga that only has 1 raised tab in the center so its always easy to know where your thumb is based off that tab and you instantly pickup on that. Another issuse i have with the mouse is the software by default has the worst settings the 2 buttons on the top of the mouse press in easily and by default change you DPI (cursor speed) so you find yourself scrolling a web page accidently hitting these and then you have to toggle through all the DPI presets to get back where you were. Lastly WHY IS THERE A 3RD CLICK! i do not care for the 3rd click and this by far is the worst feature of the mouse by default the 3rd click has something called G-Shift bound to it. G-shift changes all the side buttons to be shift+button so if you have 1-9 by default then hit g-shift it changes to shift+1-9 (adds shift to each button). This feature is not only annoying as all hell since alot of games the shift+# keys opens menus/settings/action bar settings but it seems counter effective even if your bind things to shift+# keys why would you want to click hit the button then click again to turn it off? turn 2 key presses into 3 just slows things down. For now i will continue to use it but i will mot likely be buying another naga and saving this one as a backup.

    I bought this mouse for a few reasons: a) I use a 60% keyboard that lacks a numpad, so the left side buttons make entering in numbers much quicker. b) I wanted to assign macros for music production (specifically in Ableton Live) c) I wanted to set up macros for certain video games (Runescape, Minecraft, and competitive shooters) So far I’ve only used this mouse for one day, but I’m extremely happy with it. The G-Shift button allows you to assign 24 macros (not just 12 as I originally thought) to each profile. The profiles are super easy to switch between as well and you can create profiles for each video game you play. The mouse is also much more comfortable than my previous one (). I have small hands so I was worried this mouse might be too big, but it ended up being the perfect size. It’s also surprisingly light weight and can be easily picked up and moved without pressing any buttons. I saw some reviewers saying that the buttons were too sensitive and that they accidentally pressed them when pressing the left side buttons. So far I haven’t had this issue, but it is slightly more sensitive than previous mouses I’ve used. I have included a picture comparing the size of this mouse to other mice I own (Logitech M100, Etekcity Scroll X1, and Blackweb Wireless Touch Mouse). The Logitech G600 is the third mouse.
