   Pros: Feels great if you like tactile/clicky keyboards Amazing RGB effects and color (had a little trouble with white but so does every RGB product) Great introduction to mechanical keyboards Cons: If you use it in a room or apartment with other people, they will want to break your keyboard within an hour. The clicky noise it produces is impossible to muffle even behind a door. Uses Razer Synapse program for RGB and macro settings which does take up some CPU but also provides control for other components like motherboard lighting. This was my introduction to mechanical keyboards and I appreciated it for a good month or so before learning about Cherry MX Brown switches and then further down the mechanical keyboard hole. If I was living alone, it might still be my daily keyboard but the noise is just too much.

   I’ve been typing since manual typewriters with an honest to GOD true carriage return (CR), even before electrics. Upgrades weren’t always better. Now, it almost is. The click sound and feel is lightning fast and accurate allowing me to get back to 100+ words a minute. Compared to the mushy feel and silence of most keyboards this is heaven. The only lack of perfection is the poor tilt feet, lack of a wrist pad, and mixed display on character keys. The number is on top and illuminated while the symbol is on the bottom and hard to see.

   The Razor Huntsman is an amazing keyboard for gaming and day to day life. Its fast response will keep you and your character ready for anything. These are some of the highpoints I have noticed from playing and researching this keyboard. The L.E. D’s will stay bright and shining for a little extra gamer flair. It has an amazing “click” to let you know its Opto mechanical. Me, as an extremely competitive gamer, loves the quick response time.
   The quality of this keyboard is really exquisite, Because of the firmness and the metal back board it makes this an extremely nice keyboard to game with. This keyboard is by far my favorite out of all of the keyboards I have owned. It has an amazing feel and texture to the keys making this keyboard feel and sound nice.
   It is easy to change the LED’s and to use. You can customize the keys which makes this a great keyboard for gaming or wanting a change of style. It’s L.E.D’s are bright yet best used in a dark room. This keyboard has an extremely reasonable price for what it offers in the gaming world. This is one of Razors greatest achievements and I definitely recommend this keyboard.

    After I washed keycaps, the backspace key would not lock in. Very frustrating, I know how to correctly lock a long keycap in as I did with other ones on this keyboard. It just won’t go in, very frustrating. I have to leave it in unclipped so backspace is higher than any other key caps.

    The keyboard feels nice overall but with frustrating flaws. I bought it for gaming and school work. So here are flaws: The special characters do NOT illuminate which I did not know about until I got the keyboard. So if you are using this for school or any work and not just gaming, this keyboard might not be for you if you prefer working in the dark and even in lit environments, the characters are hard to see. The synapse software is horrible, I tried so many times trying to connect this keyboard to it and it never recognized it even after multiple troubleshooting. If the software does not work then you are stuck with the breathing/color changing led effect because you CANNOT change the led color or effect with the keyboard itself 🤦‍♂️. I got my eyes on a Corsair keyboard that has way more options in this price range. The key sounds are in the loud side but I’m okay with it being as loud as it is. I don’t think I would recommend this to someone who will be doing more then just gaming with this keyboard. Pros: Design Typing Feel Speed Cons: Synapse software. Special characters do no illuminate. Led effect/color cannot be changed using the keyboard itself. No additional toggles or customization.

    For starts, if you’re not into noisy clicky keyboard then this is not for you (get the huntsman tournament edition that has a linear keys not noisy). Great quality. perfect for gaming and ergonomics. A little expensive but you will be paying for a high-quality long-lasting product so keep that in mind. Chroma looks amazing although a little dim. If you are looking for a bright color chroma effect then this is not your better option (for me it is since I don’t like things to bright). Overall I really love this keyboard.

    This keyboard looks, feels, and IS amazing. I started using this keyboard 2 weeks ago and I’ve been able to type faster, I’m absolutely digging the purple clicky switches. This keyboard is very noisy though so if you want a quieter one I recommend the yellow switches, otherwise if you’re like me and enjoy the satisfaction of a clicky switch, this is your winner!

    I do love the feel of this keyboard but I feel like the quality of the keycaps could use some work for one of my games I play I HEAVILY use the WASD keys as you can see from the picture I provided they coating on the keycaps seem to just be rubbing off. This is my 2nd razer keyboard (previously had a black widow chroma I bought back in 2016 from bestbuy) that has had this exact same issue.

    Es un excelente teclado opto-mecanico excelente para jugar y trabajar pero el detalle es que es un teclado no dedicado a latinoamerica pues no trae los caracteres de la ñ y del ¿ otros mas que tendras que configurar en su programa del mismo teclado, si el algo ruidoso al nivel de los red cherry y mas abajo de los blue cherry pero muy suave y de rapida actuacion, como dije al principio solo compralo si esta en oferta ya que si lo compras en su valor original no lo vale tanto pagar dicho precio original y te quedara la sensacion de que pagaste de mas por el teclado

    This is definitely the best keyboard I’ve ever had. It sounds very nice when clicking keys, the effort required to push the keys is just right, it has many different useful modes and it’s RGB is stunning. It is also one of the first keyboards I’ve seen out there that is capable of making a very accurate colour white.

    Let me start off my saying that this is my first mechanical keyboard and I’m not well versed in what all the different switches are and why people prefer them. That being said this is a very responsive keyboard and much better than any membrane keyboard by a long shot. I use this keyboard mostly for gaming and for that it is great, I’ve also used it some for typing and it’s very satisfying to type on but most people may find this keyboard to be a bit too loud for their liking. If you want it for work and you do lots of typing I’d personally stay away from it because of how loud it is, you would most likely annoy your co-workers with all the noise. That being said if you want a good keyboard to use at the house and don’t mind or even prefer loud keyboards then you can’t go wrong with this one. The software is also easy to use and you don’t even need to make an account to use it if you don’t want to and you can then save your presets to the board and delete the software if you would prefer not to use it. Overall this is an excellent keyboard, very high quality though at its normal retail price of 149 dollars it can be a bit hard to recommend but if you can find it on sale as I did then I’d say pick it up without hesitation you won’t be disappointed.

    I’m writing this review just to let everyone know that these keycaps are easily modded to fit the huntaman razer keyboard. As you can see in my photos, every key is lit. You have to replace a couple of keys (fn, and context menu) with a couple of the extra keys included but that’s no problem. The big issue is the spacebar: the keyboard side has a thin metal bar and the spacebar keycap has a black bracket that snaps into that thin metal bar. There’s one on the left and the right to make the spacebar press evenly. The issue is that the positioning is like 1mm too wide on both sides, so what you have to do is take an exacto knife and cut the black bracket piece so that the part that plugs into the spacebar keycap is completely cut off. Then you use superglue and maybe some tweezers to superglue the bracket piece just slightly 1mm inwards. See my photo. Repeat for the other side (exactly the same just glue it like 1mm or less towards the middle. You don’t have to be exact – just a tiny bit will do. Shouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes!
