   These are not worth $150. They may look like it but boy was i wrong. For starters if you are looking for at least loud sound then these are not for you. They are hardly loud enough even with the volume on max. Usually i don’t even use headphones on max volume. I was so disappointed when I even found out that the xbox app doesn’t really do much to help with this. These headphones lack in bass and somewhat mids, highs are somewhat okay though, but yeah it’s that type of headphone if any audiophiles are wondering. Another thing that I hate so much about these headphones also is that any outside noise is so easy to hear and I live in a pretty normal quiet house. You could have these on max volume and probably hold a down conversation with a person only a few feet away from you. I’m not kidding when I say these headphones aren’t loud enough, but enough of the cons. It’s times for the pros though there aren’t many. The biggest plus for me was that for the xbox series s it did not require a bluetooth dongle which is a big plus for some. Another pro would be that the mic sounds clear and others are able to understand you easily. The last one would be that they look cool and you can customize the led light colors. Overall I don’t think these are worth it, the sound is just not loud enough that I sometimes rather just hear the game through my tv speakers. Even if they sold these for $79.99 I would still tell you that you could probably find something a little bit better. Well i hope this review helps with your decision.

   This is a good product overall. The Bluetooth and Xbox wireless connected easily, though both had cutouts for a split second every once in a while, but eventually it smoothed out for me. I also tried it with the Xbox Wireless dongle for windows and it worked the same. Talked on discord with my friends and it sounded good to them. They sound good, not amazing but good. You can customize Audio and microphone EQ in the razer app only on Xbox. You can enable/disable mic monitoring, but I found that it was too loud when enabled. Unfortunately you can’t change its volume alone. It’s decently comfy, again nothing amazing. The logos on the side are RGB lights which looks good and cool. Customizable as well. Overall it’s a decent headset, but nothing that will blow your mind. (And you shouldn’t expect that for $150 either). I’d recommend it for the casual gamer, but not for someone that cares about everything working perfectly and being just to your liking. The headband adjusting sounds and feels very solid with the metal reinforcement in there. Solid construction there.

   I absolutely love these. They’re very comfortable and lightweight. While I strongly feel that the app to customize this headset is very buggy(Razer Headset Setup for Xbox), the app is still a welcome addition. So many things about the headset can be customized in the app, from the microphone sound, to the RGB lighting, to the EQ and overall headset sound. By default they have a very warm sound, but with a custom EQ, the smaller details can be brought out much more for things like footstep audio and general music listening. The microphone sounds very clear right of the box, although it does pick up quite a bit of noise. Much of the background noise can heard while mic monitoring is turned on, but is never actually heard in voice chat or while recording. The Bluetooth is a nice feature to have, and works perfectly for mobile gaming with minimal lag as well as taking calls. Again I must stress that a custom EQ brings out the best in this headset’s sound. As for the app, it’s love it or hate it. For the amount of customization the app unlocks, it’s buggy. Too many times I had to power cycle the headset for the app to detect it, and the lack of support for Razer Synapse on PC is total nonsense. That said, I love that the headset charges via USB Type C, and the battery life is somewhere around 15 to 20 hours. The style of the headset is also very cool as well. Overall, after applying a custom EQ to this headset, I love it.

   So apparently I just paid full price for an open box that had just been taped shut again. Not only was it obvious from the way it was loosely packed in the box, there was a sticker on the box from go-keyboard.com saying as much. However, it did arrive in seeming perfect condition, although the box is missing the instruction manual. So if I want to find anything else out about them, I got to look it up online. Rather inconvenient, but only an inconvenience. My only questions now are how long does the battery last? Is it defective? Why was it returned in the first place? When I pay full price for an item I shouldn’t be left with these questions. I should be getting a brand new, untouched product. Update: so the product wound up being in excellent shape. The battery has lasted for more than 8 hours and seems as though it can at least double that. The audio quality is good, as is the microphone. I particularly like that I can simultaneously pair it with both my Xbox and my pc or phone. They’re fairly lightweight, and a headband and ear pads are comfortable enough for all day wear. Five stars out of five, -1 for the previously open package and missing instruction manual and documents.

    I ordered and recieved this on December 3rd and its now February 15th and they broke on both ear cushion forks in the same place the functions and features are great but not enough to look over the fact they became junk in such a short period of time and ive spoken to razer warranty support they classified this failure as missuse of the product and wont repair nor replace them which is ridiculous like id expect and be ok on some 20$ headset but when your paying $70 or more that’s bs sure its functions are great but when something fails so fast its jus a buzzkill. Im not putting this to say every single pair will fail but from my own experience they wont have ur back if they split in the exact same spot on both sides even when u dont abuse them there support treats it that way…. So buyer beware you may get lucky or u may get a short life product for the money 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Only gets 2 stars because i liked everything bout it besides these couple things -audio static on random sounds/songs etc -notoriously would unpair and reset and force me to restart them for the mic to work -was told by others my mic quality wasnt consistent meaning sometimes i was quiet other times they couldn’t hear me clearly Build quality was quite misleading looked sturdy and such having metal components but that didnt save it nor do it any justice Pros: -loved the detachable mic -rgb logos (if you like rgb lighting its nice) -usb c recharging with a long braided cable -Lightweight

    So I had the Kaira X headset and fell in love with it. I said if the pros ever went on sale I’d get them as well. Luckily they did and I jumped at the chance. These headsets are amazing! No sound cutting out, it’s extremely clear, and easy to get going. I use them for my Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. Works flawlessly for both. I haven’t had any issues since purchasing, and honestly all you have to do is a little tweaking to the sound settings and it works out. I would highly recommend. The white finish is super sleek and they just look and feel great.

    Starting with what I did like about it – Quite comfortable, lots of room for adjustment and could use for hours. – Mic quality seemed very good. – Ability to connect phone through Bluetooth while it was connected to my Xbox was great. Moving onto what I disliked. – Microphone sound quality was not great out of the box, you can tune with the Razer App – Speaker sound quality was terrible. Most of the time it sounded great, but several times the sound during use, I would notice sound distortions that would start to hurt my ears after some time. – And finally moving onto the attached picture, the headset didn’t hold up. I’ve only had it for about a month and the bracket for then right side ear cup has broken. I do not recall dropping it or anything that would have caused this failure Being that this was purchased as “Used Like New” I’m currently doubting I’ll be able to use the warranty through Razer.

    Painless association to an Xbox. If you’re buying it just for the Xbox, do yourself a favor and buy the other version without the Bluetooth functionality.

    I couldn’t find a way to use the Bluetooth without also powering on the Xbox when powering on the headset. My original intent was to use the Bluetooth for my TV, for when only my TV was going to be used.

    Had some shipping issues but finally got my hands on them😁 they sound amazing the vibration, settings and modes for lighting (able to shut off) the app all user friendly!!     Do not be intimidated by the 200$ price tag; if you have the budget for these headphones, pull the trigger. Or wait for a deal. I bought these and so far the Haptic Feedback they provide has been truly life-changing; I use Dolby Atmos on my desktop and this combination makes electronic music, heavy metal, and other music feel truly impactful; double bass feels as if I’m attending a metal concert, sometimes; I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to a basic headset after owning these things. They are predominantly plastic and sometimes creak more than you’d like, but feel sturdy enough that I’m not concerned about them breaking. Just treat them like your lady, gents! Also, I purchased the Hyperspeed model, which means you cannot customize the rumble the haptics provide; you can only increase or decrease incrementally. If you want a little bit more control over your experience, I suggest you purchase Dolby Atmos from the Microsoft Store or wherever. From there, you can fine-tune which settings you would like to use. They have a “game mode”, a “music mode” a “movie mode” and more. I personally prefer music mode. Another geeky tip: if you’re on a desktop, right-click the sound icon on the taskbar in the lower right. Select “open volume mixer” and select the icon for your headphones on the left; from there, you will find an “enhancements” tab for your headphones. The options I have available are bass boost, headphone virtualization, and loudness equalization, each with a settings option down below; I use bass boost and loudness equalization, and it absolutely makes a difference. Bass is far rumblier when you mess with these settings, and lower-frequency sounds are given more of a chance to reverb as opposed to higher-frequency sounds; this will result in a far better listening experience for you. Hope that helps! These headphones are 100% worth all the tinkering I had to go through to get the sound perfect. I absolutely love these and if they ever break, I’m going to have to find a way to purchase them again. They’re that good. Fantastic work, Razer.     These headphones work perfectly on the Xbox Series X. I was worried about the current issue that the series x are having with wireless headsets having crackling and distorted noises but I turned the Kaira Pros on and synched it without having any of these issues. I downloaded the “Razer Headset Setup for Xbox” App on the Series X to customize the chroma lighting and the EQ Sound settings. For the love of all that is good DOWNLOAD THE APP AND CUSTOMIZE YOUR SOUND EQ!! You will hear a difference in the sound quality and clearness compared to the basic ones given. I changed my Custom EQ settings to: LOW +9 , LOW-MID +3, MID 0, MID-HIGH +3, HIGH +9 (You can thank me later) As soon as I did that I played random music on the spotify app from A$AP Rocky, Metallica, BlackPink and even some Michael Jackson and let me just say that it the sound quality knocked my socks off. Everything sounded so much more crisp, loud, clear and alive. I then played some games like GEARS 5, AC Valhalla and everything was on point as well. Absolutely no latency or sound issues here. The mic quality is great and my friends can hear me loud and clear. You can update your headphone firmware via Windows 10 pc/laptop and charging is via usb c which is great (no more use for micro usb cables in my house anymore, everything is all about that usb c nowadays). The only negative I can think of is that it would’ve been nice but not available is the ability to update your firmware via the xbox app, but it doesnt. I was waiting over a year for the Steelseries 9x to go on sale but that never happened so im glad these came out in time for the holiday season and for $50 cheaper than the 9x. I wholeheartedly recommend these for those in the xbox family (Windows pc via wireless adapter, xbox one and Series X/S).

    Edit; I wouldn’t buy this product unless you love customer service circle kerJ. This is not compatible with series s or x. Mic works with mic monitoring enabled but when you jump in a game it cuts your mic off. No solution out help from manufacturer. Stay away Product is not returnable. Mic broke after a week of using. Tried to return it and it’s impossible. works perfect if you plan on using them near your xbox or PC. seller claims they work for bluetooth and 2.4ghz connection. while this may be true, you can connect to bluetooth and use your phone while playing your xbox you can’t use them to say…. mow the yard. they automatically turn on your xbox when you power them on and in most experiences turn off if you power your xbox down (this is the only setting you can change). you cannot use these out of range of your xbox unless you unplug it or never pair it at all. i’m saddened to give this three stars because it’s a great product. extremely comfortable for long periods, sound is fantastic, feels sturdy so far with the steel band enclosed by plastic, memory foam cups sit well and never feel like they’re heating my ears up.

    Can’t get it connected to my Xbox I have been doing my research and I can’t find anything to help the situation (it will connect to my Xbox but it unconnected and reconnects) they are great sounds headsets and the Bluetooth works perfectly but connection to the Xbox is the problem!!!     So these headphones are usually really really nice however there are sometimes where they’re super lag he and cut out here and there. I have to turn them off and then turn it back on. I also don’t like how you can’t control the sound settings with Xbox. You have to download a separate app onto the Xbox. It’s not that the app is bad it’s just not very convenient to change sound settings super quickly. Super long battery which is awesome and just wireless headsets in general are so much better

    The audio is actually really good on this headset, but they use the worlds cheapest plastic for the rest of the headset and my left ear piece fell off after 6 months of use. I’ve never throw it or done anything else that would damage the headset and I generally only play 2 times a week. The warranty is ridiculous to get replaced, you have to physically mail it to them just to ask and they deny everywhere that’s not razer direct sales or a few authorized dealers. I will never buy a Razer product again.

    I am using this headset for my Xbox One. You have to start by charging it for about 6 hours. Then it is easy to connect, just like a controller. The lights are really fun and it feels pretty comfortable, but it can start hurting your ears a little after extended use of more than 4 or 5 hours. The instructions are pretty clear, but changing the sound options is confusing. The sound starts okay, but not great. You have to switch it to the bass boost or FPS setting for better sound. I also experience the sound crackling a lot and it seems to disconnect from the xbox then reconnect like once an hour. That’s the worst part, very annoying. I’m able to get through a whole day or more of gaming on one charge. All in all, I think it is a pretty good headset except for the crackling sound.

    Arrived just as late as monster hunter bc they were shipped together😩 BUT also arrived in excellent condition ready to roll and pair to my series x 👌I purchased this with Affirm as well and I gotta say, I’m impressed with the customization options for xbox through the dedicated Razer app you can get and change the lighting, m8c clarity, equalizers what frequency hertz are louder thN others… it’s pretty crazy 😅😅🤣 I do recommend however that you connect them to a pc and update the firmware to the latest version to get the best sound👌👍 but other than that, 0 issues paring to the xbox IA native Bluetooth options. TKe Bout 10 seconds and they’re ready to use 👍

    This headset it supposed to be all that but I am not impressed. The mic monitoring is terrible. You have to download the Razer app to get it to work. Also the corded Turtle Beach I had before seemed to perform much better in every category except for wireless operation. I have messed with the settings and cannot seem to get these dialed in to my liking. I would not buy again. But I will say the cordless feature is nice (about the only positive). I gave them a 3 star (neutral rating) because they are as advertised a headset. They are also wirei like advertised. Battery life seems good. They look and feel nice. Audio is meh. Buy turtle beach
