   As a previous owner of apex M800 and after 4 month of use (as you can see in the pic :)) ) i must say im in love with this keyboard – pros: * Clicky satisfied sound from the keyboard – not like the m800. * The switches are great and can be replaced easily – not like his previous Apex m800 – I broke a lot of keys just to clean them (I use tools ). *Rgb is great – A lot of options by using the Steelseries engine. cons: -No rest bar – I got used to it. – I have one small problem with ‘*’ key on numpad it is most of the time not responsive . In conclusion I REALLY recommend to buy the m750 – I enjoy it so much and it is a big upgrade from the m800 :).

   I love this keyboard. Best I have ever had. It is weird because a guy at Micro Center told me that this was the worse keyboard brand to get. I got a cooler master keyboard last time and the lighting on it sucked and was glitchy. Also it was so loud that it sounded like my house was in a hail storm. I searched online for quietest keyboard and I got this. My MSI also has a steel series keyboard so I thought it would be cool to have two matching keyboards. This thing is quiet and feels satisfying to type on. And it really is spill proof. I accidentally spilled 100ml on vape juice on it, which totalled my surface pro keyboard instantly. Well, this did not harm this keyboard in any way, and it is worse than water because it is thick, sticky, and doesn’t dry up. This keyboard is awesome, and it is 3x cheaper than other gaming keyboards on the market. Must have for anyone that is semi-serious with gaming but super serious with ergonomics, performance, and beauty of lighting.

   Its great, all is advertised properly, perfect BUT sometime the profiles wont load and the space bar is (for my psersonal liking) too light to activate, all is well though still to find an issue other than that after 3 weeks.

    As somebody who’s involved in eSports and travels to LANs frequently I find myself enjoying steel series more and more (it’s what most of the LANs provide). It is a mechanical keyboard so it does make some loud noises when typing but other than that I love it. The lights and being able to sync it with other steel series products is also very nice.

    I’ve spent a bunch of time gaming and typing with the Apex 150. Overall, I really like it. I’ll go over some of its strengths and weaknesses below. The first thing I noticed is the build quality. This thing is heavy. Super heavy. I don’t know if that necessarily means it’s built well, but they convinced me regardless. The board and the keys seem very durable and structurally sound. No part of this seems flimsy or cheaply built. The rear height is adjustable with metal flippable legs. Probably my favorite thing about this keyboard is the way the keys texturally feel and press. Each key is slightly concave, so your fingers kind of stay in the little groove and lock it in place. They also feel really good. They feel almost rubbery. As a gamer, this is all very helpful in keeping your fingers where you want them to be and not slipping over to keys nearby. They are extremely quiet and make almost no sound at all. If you’re after a super clicky and mechanical feel, this board isn’t it. They do “click”, but it’s a smooth, dampened press. The lighting is pretty good. There are 7 or 8 options, nothing too fancy. Solid RGB and white, a smooth transition, a fast transition and a blink. You can adjust the brightness, which I really like. It can get very dim or very bright depending on your preference. The keyboard just feels really good. It seems like a good quality piece of hardware and is texturally and ergonomically solid. It also seems to be improving my FPS gameplay. It could just be a coincidence, but stats don’t lie.

    I love mechanical keyboards. I have a half dozen. In this review, I’ll be comparing the SteelSeries M750 to Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Cherry MX Brown Switches, Per-Key RGB Lighting, Full Size and the Corsair STRAFE RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Backlit Multicolor LED, Cherry MX Red. The SteelSeries is the only one of these three with an aluminum base, which may or may not slight change the typing experience. After reading several reviews complaining that the SteelSeries keyboard keys break easily, I used my key puller to look at the underside of random keycaps. They appear solid and durable on the M750, and I had no issues with the keys while using the keyboard. I found the included software easier to use than the software included with the my Cooler Master keyboard, but also very gimmicky. If you want a bunch of lighting options that move around and change in response to various inputs, you’ll love the SteelSeries Engine 3 software options. A few comments about design. The APEX M750 is well designed but there are a few things I don’t like. The front edge of the keyboard is a bit too curved for my taste, and I prefer the CoolerMaster in this area, with its rectangular design and complete lack of surface branding elements. There is no USB passthrough like on the Corsair, but I don’t miss it at all. The difference in typing experience between the three keyboards is negligible. All of them provide a nice tactile response, and mechanical keys that should outlast their cheaper counterparts by a factor of 10 to 1. As an aficionado, I can recommend the SteelSeries APEX M750.

    the clean and compact design is great, the keyboard doesn’t take up too much space on the desk. Unlike other switches, the sound of these is very tame and manageable but doesn’t take away the satisfying click of the mechanical keyboard anyway. It’s easy to set up and settings are easy to navigate thanks to the logo button and yeah, just a wonderful keyboard that I’m super pleased with. Been SteelSeries user for a while and will continue to purchase their gear in the future

    the push of the keys feel nice and are quiet enough for everyday use. the “white” illumination option has an unwanted pink/orange hue. tried to fix it by using a whitish blue/green illumination color but the red/orange still shows.

    This really sucks to write as I’m really enjoying typing on these keys. They are super light and not overly sensitive. I don’t mind the bottoming out noise that much and my coworkers have said it’s not bad. However, there is a huge chunk of rigid plastic that is jetting out away from the build and completely destroying the integrity of the noise dampening and stability of the keyboard. Because of this I barely apply pressure to the left side of the board and it will SLIDE. Also if I push down vertically on the keyboard it’s got a pretty egregious off-balance table effect. For the money this would have been a great keyboard. However, for the money this is absolutely unacceptable to deliver a broken product. This is something that did not occur in shipping, the plastic is too stiff. I’m done with you, SteelSeries.
