   A button on my first merc got stuck and it later broke, totally my fault, so I ordered another of these to use and will keep the old as a spare. I can’t imagine ever gaming with just WSAD. I was old school in using the arrow keys up until “Joint OPS” which would not let you change the movement keys to the arrow keys. So I went to a local store and picked up my first Z-Board, later upgraded to this model and now on my second of this kind.

   I also agree that it was a bad move to embed the “delete” key into the numpad. That is really annoying, but the rest of it’s feature surpass its flaw by a bundle. Next time it drops in price I am gonna order a couple more for backup.

   Just can’t game without!!

   I purchased my Merc Stealth in 2013, and have been using it ever since. I’ve traveled all over with it for LANs and extended business travel to be used with my gaming laptop, and it’s held up great. Pros: – Solid construction – heavy-feeling, good quality materials. As I said, I’ve thrown this in backpacks and suitcases for travel and have had no issues. – USB and headset ports on the front – great for quick plug-ins or short headset cables – Gaming key layout – I love the layout of the gaming pad! It took some getting used to, but now I don’t want to go back (this will fall into the “cons” list) – Easy-to-use software for tweaking key mappings per game Cons: – Once you’re used to the key layout of the game pad, it’s difficult to game on a “normal” keyboard. This presents an issue if you attend a LAN party with provided keyboards (usually at conventions), or want to play on a friend’s computer – No dedicated Delete/Home/Insert/Page Up/Page Down keys – you have to use the number pad, which means you’re switching Num Lock on and off while performing normal PC routines Overall, I would highly recommend this keyboard if you would utilize the game pad and expect it to be the only keyboard you use for gaming.

   Sicuramente una tastiera eccezionale per chi ama giocare a livelli seri, robusta, ben concepita, tasti programmabili e quello che serve è duplicato e posizionato comodamente nella parte sinistra, l’essere un po’ ingombrante è un difetto ma anche il suo pregio principale, visto che ci sono i giusti spazi per poterne godere in pieno.
   Modifico questo messaggio a 5 anni dall’acquisto per dare 5 stelle, è ancora perfetta dopo tutti questi anni di utilizzo.

   This key board rocks omac1962 ,after owning my steelseries Merc key board i must say i am very impressed 1st it handles like a dream and the light set up is killer, and the size wow it feels like a music key board now let me tell you the beast part one morning in a rush to leave out for work i spilled a large cup of coffee on it bad deal all around but after drying it worked some key stuck ran water on it and i am typing on it right now!!!!!!!! this thing deserves a cover!!

   Good Keyboard but after a half a year print on keys started to wear out, need better quality keys for that price. *** update, “S” key’s plastic post fell apart 10 months after purchase, no more gaming unless I can buy somewhere spare one…
