   The keyboard quality is great, and the keypresses are tactile too. But this keyboard is Bluetooth/wire operated. What if don’t use a wire and have to tweak bios settings? There is no adapter/dongle provided and Bluetooth in Linux and Windows sucks, this forces the user to use it in the wired mode most of the time. Please give a wireless dongle with all the wireless devices like this.

   I am very pleased with this keyboard. My expectations before receiving it was low given the price I paid for a mechanical keyboard. But the feel of these brown switches surpassed the feel of the Corsair K70 RGB I purchased in the same month. The reason I purchased it was to have mac keys for my Apple M4Pro Mini which the Corsair keyboard doesn’t have. The KeyChron doesn’t have the fancy RGB lights of the Corsair but the keys are backlit in white which still makes it easy to see in dim lighting. But again, the tactile “feel” is the best I have felt on a computer keyboard since the 1980s. If you are a full keyboardist Gen-Xer and you need a keyboard for office productivity, this one is a great choice without breaking the bank.

   You won’t be disappointed with this keyboard since it was also featured on the APPLE website as the set. Due to my job, I need a full-size keyboard and this one is not only doing the job for my editing job but also make a lot fun with my FPS games. (COD and CS) Highly recommend and it’s been working fine in last 4 months with avg 3-4 hours/day.

   I received this keyboard and hooked it up at 9:20am. It’s 10:34am and I’ve put it back in its box to return. I love the key action and typing feels great to my fingers, but the edges and corners are painfully sharp. The corner by the left control key continually scrapes my left palm as I type. I’m not sure if this is a build issue with my particular item or what, but it just plain hurts to type on. Key repeat also isn’t working with my Mac out of the box. I could probably solve it, but honestly it’s not worth bothering for a keyboard I can’t type on without physical irritation.

   This keyboard’s switches are smooooth! It works perfectly either with the usb-c connection or via bluetooth and there is no discernible lag. I appreciate the little ‘start up’ sequence with the backlit LED’s which is a nice touch. Multipoint bluetooth works great between different devices too. I’d be hard-pressed to find an advantage between this keyboard and some of the higher priced options–this is hard to beat for my home office setup. Gaming *might* be another issue, since the Gateron Red switches that came with mine are linear (you’d probably want browns or some other tactile switch). For work use it’s perfectly adequate, fast and quiet. My wife actually likes the noise of my keyboard clacking away and finds it relaxing!

   This keyboard is amazing i bought it a month ago and so far its going fantastic. This keyboard sounds very clacky and clicky. This keyboard SUPPORTS MAC AND WINDOWS. On the left side of the keyboard you have a bluetooth mode, off mode, and wired mode, as well as Windows mode and Mac mode. This means you can change it from windows to mac anytime you want. And when you change it to windows the package also brings the keycaps you need for windows mode such as, alt, windows button, and esc. It brings a manual about all the features you can do but for some reason I can’t turn on rgb lighting?? But it is a very good keyboard, it also brings your own little tool to take out the keycaps and install custom or the ones it came with. I think its worth the price and the packaging is super modern. I recommend this keyboard if you want a mechanical keyboard that is reliable and is compatible with Mac and Windows.

   Keyboard is very good as expected but there are two versions of the keyboard . One is plastic base and the other RGB one have almunium one. both have brown switches but they both have different typing experience. I like the one with almunium base and ordered this as i did not knew before hand.

   Como programador de computadoras he evaluado muchos teclados, este me parece perfecto en Red switch. Lo uso con Windows, bluetooth, multi-dispositivos, fácil de configurar y de cambiar (switch) entre dispositivos. Buena iluminación de las teclas, lo considero ligero y de buen tamaño, las teclas se sienten firmes, heavy-duty y muy comodo para escribir. Tenia mis dudas con respecto a la marca, pero es muy buen teclado mecánico multi-device, inalámbrico (bluetooth), es el mejor rendimiento que los teclados de la foto para mi gusto. No lo he evaluado en Mac.

    This mechanical keyboard is just perfect. The brown switch is very responsive and gives the satisfying click sound at a medium level. The keyboard’s multiple device options works very well, as i switch between 2 devices (wired and bluetooth). The led lights are an amazing bonus to the typing experience. The build quality of the frame and keys is excellent. Very pleased with the performance of the KB…must buy for gamers and regular users alike!

    So after tolerating the misbehaving space bar key on my Razer Huntman I finally replaced it with this keychron and so far I love it. The key strokes are super smooth and the whole feel of it is pretty natural. The keys feel a little tighter together than the huntsman but I’ll adjust in no time. The only thing I haven’t liked was the usb cable. It’s about 46 inches about a 16 inches shorter than what I needed. I have a thunderbolt dock on my desk and just need the cable to go in the grommet down a cable channel and over to a retractable keyboard platform. And it’s a smaller desk, so if you use under desk cable management you may just want to get yourself a cable for it too. That new cable, you might want one of the connectors to be a right angle one too.

    This keyboard with brown switches sounds and feels great. But there are big problems: 1. Mismatch with Online Pictures and Manual: The keyboard I received doesn’t match the online images or the manual. 2. Inconsistent Key Sizes and Colors: Two of the swappable keys (Mac vs Windows) are not the same size or shade as the rest. They sit higher and look noticeably different. 3. Incorrect Key Function Labels: The key images don’t match their functions. For example, the F1 key shows a Pause/Play icon, but pressing Fn+F1 lowers the brightness. The correct Pause/Play function is actually on Fn+F8, which has no label/icon. 4. Poor Quality Shine-Through Keys: The see-through keys are poor quality; most are clear and consistent, but some don’t let any light shine through, others are blotchy. I think I received a used keyboard in the wrong packaging, despite purchasing it as “new”.

    I learned to type in the 80’s on an IBM Selectric typewriter and this feels like the good old days. It has everything I need, Bluetooth or wired, optional keys for Mac or Windows, backlit and rechargeable. I may have to get one for all my computers.

    Keychron is talked about in a lot of keyboard enthusiast videos for being a good entry level mechanical keyboard. This is technically true in that the key switches used are great. They use Gateron. HOWEVER. That title comes with the caveat that it’s when it is a hot swappable keyboard. As in one you can repair or upgrade yourself without having to solder the switches. This version is NOT that. I only found this out after damaging a switch and my new switch puller and completely disassembled the board. They do technically make this known in that their mess of a product title doesn’t say hot swappable. The other ones do. But that is NOT ENOUGH when your reputation is for having entry level stuff. You HAVE to make it clear to the buyer or you end up like me. Out 100+ bucks plus the now useless replacement switches. Maybe I’ll get the proper one. But I may just go with a competitor that actually does their job and describes the product they sell.
