- 87 Keys Mechanical Keyboard: The V3 has a classic TKL (80%) layout with QMK/VIA support, which can offer you endless possibilities of customization and meet your needs in different situations. With double-shot PBT keycaps, an acoustic silicone pad, screw-in stabs, and pre-lubed switches, etc., which provides endless possibilities and a comfortable typing experience.
- Fully Customizable From the Inside Out: To build a fully customizable keyboard, we designed every component easily assembled, including keycaps, switches, gaskets, plates, knob and case foam if you want. With QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more.
- Hot-swappable Support: With the pre-lubed mechanical tactile brown switch provides unrivaled tactile responsiveness with up to 50 million keystroke lifespan. You can also hot-swap the V3 with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required. The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizer for “big keys” such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete are designed for less wobbliness and smooth performance.
- Compatible with both macOS & Windows Systems: Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V3 comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard.
- Double-shot PBT Keycaps & South-facing Backlight: The V3 comes with our unique OSA profile and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable and subtle fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use. The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle and free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the V3.

I really enjoy Keychron keyboards. I also want wired keyboard so no recharging worries and fast response. This keyboard is almost the best layout for me (main keyboard + directional Keys + volume knob). I love the volume knob and separate directional keys section and it doesn’t take up my entire keyboard tray.
Dislikes:
1. LEDs do not enable the ability to see the labels on each key in lowlight
2. LED settings tend to change without any configuration intervention – goes to the horrible ‘Breathing’ setting which is annoying.

Absolutely fantastic keyboard. I’ve had it for a few months now, and it’s been a joy to use. Worth every penny.
Only downside is it’s quite the collector of pet hair! But such is the way with most mechanical keyboards.
My favourite way to customise it has been to set the knob as a sideways scroll. It comes in handy so much!

I recently just decided to go for a new keyboard after four years of using an old one. This keyboard was definitely the most worth-it buy with bright RGB, great sound and feel in typing. Would recommend to a friend.

I’m a long time lurker, first time builder. I knew I wanted a keyboard. I priced out the bare bones version + switches + keycaps… it did not make sense to go that route. This keyboard feels quite premium for being plastic. My wife’s first reaction was how heavy it is (in a good way). She’s not much of an enthusiast but now wants me to build her a keyboard.
So it starts…
As for the build of this keyboard, the switches come pre-lubed which means you get to save yourself the time, money, and effort. Everything sounds quite premium with a nice deep thud. The spacebar is noticeably hollow, but upon searching the internet superhighway, that is a common problem with common fixes if one so desires to fix it. Turns out having a long rectangular piece of hollow plastic means the hollow plastic will sound hollow. Who knew.
Good keyboard for the current price of $99! You may or may not care about the knob. If you don’t care, save yourself $10 and get the version without it.

Extremely good quality, love the sound and its easy to configure. It isn’t light so it doesn’t randomly slide while typing and just stays were you put it

Great tactile feel with the brown switches. Nice color lightning options out of the box. Stock keycaps are attractive. Very happy with this keyboard and I highly recommend the 80% layout like this one is.

I absolutely love this keyboard! The build quality is outstanding, and it feels fantastic to type on. The functions are seamless, making it perfect for both work and gaming. The features are top-notch, offering everything I need and more.
The brown keys are the highlight for me—they feel incredibly crisp and organic with just the right amount of tactile feedback. Typing on this keyboard is such a satisfying experience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium keyboard!

I am impressed with this affordable keyboard, there are similar keyboards that cost much more.
I swapped the Mac keys for the PC keys (Alt, Windows), it comes with the tool to pull the key cap out. The circle volume knob is handy too!
It did come with decent instruction how to adjust the backlight speed.
The keyboard is but heavy but it does not matter as it just stay on the table. Overall it is a good product.

This is one of your best options when it comes to a keyboard that has that lubed feel out of the box. It is a sensational value, in my opinion.
Switches are smooth and quite. Keycaps feel very high quality. Base is HEAVY but is made with plastic (plus in my book, I think the brushed/flat aluminum look of a lot of keyboard chassis’ is tacky. Plus no pinging from chassis). Switches are a clear upgrade from the Gateron brown’s, which I use daily for work on a Keychron C1. More tactile, more silent, and more smooth. Mine is stock, but this seems like a great platform for modding as well.
This existence of this keyboard has signaled to me that the the mechanic keyboard market has reached another maturation milestone. My first mechanical keyboard experience was the original Blackwidow, so going from that, to the cheaper alternatives when the Cherry patent expired (Redragon), to this, is pretty awesome to think about. The innovation and passion that rose from the ashes of that patent has culminated into keyboards like this; they are just so smooth and consistent out of the box. Very nice to your wallet and no fuss required.
